  1. I think the Torch actually looks and sounds really cool from the tiny, tiny bit we've seen. Johnny Storm, he ain't - but the Human Torch? Why not?
  2. I'm a fan of a few of his songs but have never actually seen or heard him speak. He seems great, and I look forward to seeing his role in the movie.
  3. Unless I missed something, didn't he say "the new X-Men movie"?
  4. Yeah, otherwise they may have gone in the first photo. Ehhh, some people have strange priorities
  5. VERY nice. Took me a second to realize the Action 1 and Tec 27 were giant reprints
  6. We're practically neighbours. Congrats!
  7. Liam, your sig line is really looking great!!! and i am sure that scratches the surface. Thank you very much! I went ahead and uploaded almost my entire collection to www.ForeignComicBooks.com - if you get a chance, take a quick looksee
  8. As long as the hero isn't one who is based around being black like almost all of them are. EDIT: About the only one I can think of at the time is James Rhodes. And yes I'd be fine if they made him white in a film. James Rhodes is an interesting one because I seem to recall his non-white nature coming into plot points during his time as Iron Man, which arguably is a formative thread for his character (overcoming racial standards) - HOWEVER, since that was in the early 80s, I can't imagine they could make a plot point like that relevant in today's storylines. But strangely, I still would find it very strange if Rhodey were white, and I'm not entirely sure why I feel that way.
  9. Is that Constantine? I know very little about him but I assumed that the character shown must be someone else.
  10. There were rumors of him becoming Giant Man in CA3. On that note, since they don't appear to be going the Ant-Man 2 route (a fact which slipped my mind), then Giant-Man appearing alongside an ensemble is very plausible.
  11. Sorry, I should have elaborated my point more from the get-go! I'm thinking from the standpoint of how to promote a movie as part of a franchise. I imagine that it would be confusing for someone who knows nothing about comics that does enjoy Ant-Man, who is looking forward to an Ant-Man 2 but instead is told that they're changing it up and introducing Giant-Man. It could feel like a bait and switch. For the uneducated critics, it may just seem plain cheesy. All of that said... From the comic fan standpoint, I agree that it makes perfect sense and I would be thrilled if they did go that route.
  12. I'm not sure taking the Giant Man approach would make a lot of sense in terms of the casual viewership.
  13. I am loving these Spider-Man integrations. I always imagined that when they got Spidey back it would be a very awkward, forced start, but I've got a good feeling these days.
  14. Yes, he's done some great work in the horror genre. I believe he also did Insidious and The Conjuring, while not masterpieces, I thoroughly enjoyed them.
  15. Would make sense if someone were to make a joke about superheroes being bug related. "First Spider-Man, now Ant-Man, what's next? Cricket-Man?" Sounds like we'll probably get something very close to those lines
  16. VERY interesting... It sounds like this will wind up being relative filler as many have speculated, but for a VERY good reason, if it winds up paving Spider-Man's origin
  17. Right, so there's another boom here - but, given the nature of this recent one (high quality films vs. the original "gimmick" speculation books) - is there a chance this one stays?
