  1. ...and even they'll walk out. Sorry, incorrect. I'm excited for this movie (thumbs u
  2. Who cares. People will flock to the theaters. I guarantee! Maybe annoying teenage girls will, but that's not the kind of audience I want to share the theater with. Actually I'm not sure he's a huge draw for teenage girls either. I think he appeals a little bit to a lot of different types of people, but not too strongly with anyone group. He's the best part of 'This is the End' Let me put it another way then. I don't want to share a theater with people who think Tatum playing Gambit is a good idea. I'm confused - personally, everything I've seen Tatum in has been awesome. What movies has he been less than decent in?
  3. A couple more in today. British AAF - And picked this one up at a LCS I just discovered on the East side. It was a weird little place, but the owner was friendly enough.
  4. Is that true? I had no idea that the story took place in Indonesia! I suppose I should have read my American copy before selling it, hey?
  5. Thrilled to receive this in the mail this morning. Indonesian Wolverine #1
  6. Are you talking to me? I was simply agreeing that I think the FF are scientists/explorers first. If you look back at any of my posts in this thread, I thought I was being quietly optimistic I'm almost positively certain she was talking about Chip
  7. Agreed. Loooooot of unnecessary negativity around here sometimes, from a few people.
  8. He looks awesome as Danny. Let's make it happen.
  9. Presumably, the shape-change would include vocal chords, which are a physical part of the body.
  10. He's great in rom-coms, terrible in everything else. Green Lantern (or wolverin origins, blade 3 if you like), is all that really needs to be said about his superhero resume I actually really enjoyed him in Wolverine when he was just Wade Wilson, and I think he's going to bring the same kind of energy to the Deadpool film, but probably even more spastic. Never saw Blade 3 (though I want to), and I thought he was decent in GL. I definitely wouldn't say he's great in rom-coms, and terrible in everything else. Ever see Buried? I thought he was superb in that movie. I urge everyone to wait until they've seen Deadpool to judge RR in the part. From everything I've heard from my colleagues working on the movie, he's an absolute star in the role.
  11. Yes, but on an entirely different subject. Don't replace SHIELD with it - but as a new series, sure.
  12. I enjoyed the trailer. I think Batman looks even better here than in the Nolan series, though I imagine they won't be able to recapture the "realness" that Nolan had with the character, and we'll have a much more "fantasy"-like Batman. Superman, I'm not sold on. To be honest (it's an unpopular opinion) but I just can't connect with this new guy like I did with Tom Welling in Smallville. I know. NO ONE agrees with me, and that's fine by me (thumbs u
  13. Yup, Marvel is hitting on all cylinders for sure.... Shield was a dud to me but how could it not with the limitations of TV budgets and mainstream broadcast rating limitations. Im starting to worry that Preacher might have been better served on Netflix than AMC? FCC! Represent!
  14. Erik was shown subtly moving a metal chess piece at the end of X3, implying his powers were coming back. I think Singer chose to take advantage of those two tiny tidbits to fully bring them back for DOFP, just because he had the option to and realized he needed them to make the movie work. I personally think the gamble paid off, but yes, it is a bit strange.
  15. The beautiful redundancy of a trailer for a trailer.
