    Regarding the threadkrapping discussion recently...I have a sales thread in mixed ages forum and @vaillant stopped by today. I know he likely isn't buying due to being on the other side of the world and I am selling bulk but we exchanged some posts for a while and I thought it was the best part of the thread so far. I like it when people come by and talk it up. I wish more people would post even if they are not buying. I have sometimes said that I encourage it but it doesn;t seem to help much but being social is the best part of the boards and any chance I get to do so is welcome.

    Man of Steel and DKR both came out in 1986. Perez was on WW in 1987. Those are the 3 books I recall this happening with. Perez worked on NTT earlier but I was unaware of that so maybe the other two came later.

    I recall it happening pretty close together but the books came out at different speeds. I do recall talking with friends about how DC got Marvels 3 best artists.

    I had closed this thread and moved a bunch to Facebook but I am disorganized over there and took them down to get a better plan on selling there. But since they are down over there I have cleaned up this thread and re-opened it...10% off listed prices on all remaining books! I have a great sale on lots in the Mixed Ages forum and you can combine purchases with those as well to save on shipping. Books over there are mostly $0.25-$0.50 cents a book with some nice runs and lots available.

    I am actually pulling stuff off Facebook today for my mixed ages sales thread going on now so that I can re-organize better if I need to put them back up there. I learned that much, put more than one comic in a post!

    my pricing is pretty stable, facebook and ebay about the same and here a little less. I sold stuff there that sat here and on ebay though. I have far more lookee-loos there but it seems to be working out even though it has not been the gangbusters that it was at first. FB is fairly strict about goods and services paypal in the groups but people seem to have no problem using F&F, I just tell them I wouldn't complain if they pay that way and some have. So zero fees if that happens! I have not ventured onto IG, I set up an account but cannot figure out how to do a thing. I am now my father, who would have me hook up the vcr when I was a kid!
