  1. I went to a show last year where he had very little line and bought 3 of his sketches, with many left in the portfolio after I left. I got there in the morning but after the doors opened.
  2. Alex, someone at the door for you! (Alex has a good canned answer to this type of question.) Good luck, HA archives should have some comp info for the BWS splashes.
  3. Still waiting for my value submission of 11/09 to hit should be any day but I’m ready
  4. ugh, I just PMed him trying to trade for it. If I just bought it I would have snagged you by 30 seconds or so!
  5. I just got back a NM98 9.8 subbed in modern tier and a Standard tier IH181 8.0, both of which exceeded the stated limits by 4x and 8x respectively. I had them pressed and then dropped off so was pleasantly surprised when the got so much value but like I said, not moved at all.
  6. I like his ideas and would like to see it in action to see if I can swing it.
  7. well, it will come back much quicker! CGC has never moved a book of mine from one tier to another, and I just recently had one end up much higher value than the tier indicated. I use ASM300 in the modern tier often.
  8. I didn’t know they were that expensive I use our fellow Bordi myself and love his work
  9. YIKES! Why so much? $20 modern fee + s/h + pressing...how did it get to $130?
  10. @SOTIcollector I didn't ask for the help but I DO appreciate it! I am a visual guy, do you have any photos of it in use? Do the books slide on or off the racks at all?
  11. I have them order the materials after measuring my art and then take my art with me. They call me when the materials are in and I make sure it gets done the same day. Once in a while they say the cannot do it that day so I tell them that I will bring it in bright and early on day X and to please have it done that day instead.
  12. well I hope people buy my sets of MM then, I waited for the whole series to come out but should have sold after issue 6 as the final price is less now than it was then. I sold some sets of 16 or 1-8 for $80 or so and cannot move the 1-12 for $60!
  13. you've got the wrong Michael here. I believe OML is Finn.
  14. If the right books are there they will be seen and purchased. Arch favors a sliding scale for the Bronze / Copper distinction and that makes perfect sense to me, allow a little leeway but anything outright gets the hammer! Maybe if people followed the rules and placed those threads in Mixed Ages it wouldn't be such a dead forum.
  15. well, it is the case for me and that has been the case my whole life, but I didn't actually know until I got to college! Maybe that is why I never felt the need to join the registry.
  16. Yes you would click the same box to Open it again it’ll say something like unmark as closed
  17. just got a new offer, 100 listings for a nickel each starts tomorrow and ends 1/20. neener neener!
  18. I thought that there was a "SNAP" sound effect when Peter snares her that was maybe removed from subsequent printings?
  19. I think moving Bronze to be with Copper makes sense. Or just leave it the way it is. But whatever rules our hosts set up should be followed, not flauntingly ignored.
  20. I think that is why I took that close-up, they looked a little wonky but the light was not the best.
