    I think that it is the nature of the beast. GA books are the grooviest and will attract the most eyes. SA is right behind, that wacky SA! Copper/modern has cool books and the majority of my own collection but you can find those books much more readily than you can books in the other thread. Plus we are all getting older and therefore will therefore be looking to the older books. I like the new software n some respects and having 20 threads on the first page is one of them but if it were one large sales forum everything would be falling off the page and getting bumped and it would be chaos. I like Arch's idea of some leeway in the dates but pushing the envelope beyond that seems like a bad idea.

    You can’t go back in time and the book is what it is at this point I doubt that I’ll be buying it but you’re right if the price is very low I might considerate but I highly doubt that

    I don't have a problem with it at all. I'm not complaining anywhere here. I wouldn't report anyone for this but then again I list in mixed all the time.

    I know what you mean but I believe they come from different sources and are at the same dealer's now. he was going to send them to cgc for grades but I suggested seeing what y'all said first so here we are.

    In his reply he suggests leeway with the bronze/copper date, so a cutoff of 1985 for G/S/B and 1983 for C/M seems like what he means with 1983-1985 being able to be posted in either forum. It isn't those dates that are the issue I think, but later books in G/S/B and earlier books in C/M.

    Just make another thread! It is 2 additional seconds of work, cut and paste the rules and be done with it. If you want, add a post to the "in other ages sales thread" thread. If the idea is to get people to see it, then two threads are better than one with a link in the first post to the other thread. It isn't that difficult to do. No need to go muddying the waters and all that jazz.

    Not mine but I told someone I would solicit the boards opinions on two Avengers 1 and the Avengers 4. I would appreciate the help on what grade this looks like as is. copy B we shall call this one. Again some staple issues and chipping. Terrible spine damage as well. Thoughts?

    I agree, give an inch and take a mile. I do like the flexibility in dates though but saying other ages are allowed just leads to abuse.

    I never ever get buyers taking extra things to combine shipping. NEVER. I often send an email offering a % off (15-20%) for extra purchases and no one has even taken me up on that! I find I sell an average of 1 item a day or so when I have 50+ listings going but I price to move.

    I got free extra listing twice last month so they still do it. My wife's account hAs never gotten an extra free listings offer though.
