  1. It has been quiet.

Lin Pictures has Jeff Smith's movie right. I consistently checked with boneville.com to see if there are any recent updates on developing the Bone movie. It came empty. The last update was 2012.

Do you have any brightest idea of whenever the Bone movie comes out? I don't think it will ever happen in few more years. Jeff Smith may slow it down or the production company keeps frog-leaping the Bone movie projects with other movie projects.

    What is your thought?

  2. I waited for the next issue and always wanted to know what happened next but this may be uncompleted.

I felt like that I was cut off since Atlas Comics went bankrupt. Planet of Vampires, Ironjaw and all other books were gone uncompleted.

  3. Great post and info that I had not seen before. Really interested to see that #55 had previously been sold on eBay, as I went ahead and took the plunge on it at a recent ComicLink auction

:wishluck: for coming back with 9.8. That would be miracle.

  4. Will you able to confirm this certificate and signature that are authenticity?

It's a first time that I have it in my hands. Luckly, I have the past experience in the printing and graphic design before Internet. Also, I did my homework about Mircaleman #1 Gold Edition. Please confirm this is authenticity.

Mircaleman #1 has a common crease printing on the front cover:

The signature on the first page:

The ink bleed and embossed signature on the second page:

The certificate has glossed ink that light reflects:

The numbered marks do not reflect:

  5. Relax dudes!

Back to 70's, when I was a kid. There were a lot of Silver and Bronze Age books in those garage sales and flea markets even you could find them in 25 or 50 cent bins.

There were plenty of them. Fast forward to today. You don't often see them like in 70's but we have so much Modern Age books around here.

We will go fast forward to 20-30 years from now. You probably won't see those Modern Age books anymore.

  6. Okay... I was going to post this in the CG thread on the Action 1 9.0 Thread... but this seemed like the best place to ask a question geared directly to obtain your perspective.

You made mention that through a few of your sources, you learned that CGC graded the second Action 1 in a 9.0 sometime last year but held off adding it to the census until the new OSPG could be published. Given that GPA shows that since June of 2013, three copies, 5.0 (9/13), 3.0 (8/13) and a 1.5 (6/13) have exchanged hands, what might have been the impact, if any, on those sales if the second Action in a 9.0 had been known?

A few folks mentioned that for a brief period of time a second action 1 in 9.0 was on the census (last year). It was removed, I'm sure at the request of the owner. Don't think it affects lower grade values one iota

Maybe the owner was unhappy with the grade and wanted it to be pressed and regraded. The label was included. While the book is being graded, the certification number was removed from CGC census so the second 9.0 grade was omitted.

I would suspect the current owner is hoping for the highest single graded on the census.

  7. Drek is what a comic book is the day before the upcoming movie is announced featuring the lead characters of said comic book.

    Rocket Raccoon says hello.

I will say this though, this issue is curiously absent from my collection and I may have a long box of 70s and 80s hulks, so I have to wonder if people in the know have been plucking them for years waiting for the racoon to explode. I find this hard to imagine as a lot of those Hulks I have were bought in the 80s and early/mid 90s out of 25 cent boxes when rocket was truly a fringe character, but it is what it is. It could be I just skipped it because of the stupid looking cover, but that has never stopped me before.

People were buying them because it was a first comic appearance. People have always bought first appearances for speculation purposes.

As a very long time Hulk collector I can tell you I *HATED* that book.

    How's about scoff?

  8. We could see 'ASM2' finally break the $200 MM domestic box office barrier this weekend. As of Thursday's results, it is right on the cusp. It just needs another $523,000 and it is there.

The movie has been adding about $120K daily, so it may just take Friday through Sunday's results to put it over the top.

Fantastic. It reminded me of Babylon 5. US audience was dismally low but International audience kept the show running

  9. Two low feedback buyers to block:

    julientristan22: Non-paying bidder. No communication.

polkadot2005: Had buyer's remorse before she even received the comic I sold her and requested a return. Admitted that she overspent.

Maybe 6 years old childs did that.
