I just can't see it happening because he is the central character. The whole show would lose it's core foundation without him. I love the idea that nobody is safe...but I think Rick is.

He's not killing Rick. I seriously doubt that will happen in the TV show. Maybe the comic once Carl gets older.

No, the only episode I thought was a total POS was the last episode (finale).

 

Check the thread I gave the directors, actors, and Kirkman massive props for the previous 3 episodes.

 

I want to like the show, but just because I love the comic book (mostly 1-48) I just can't drink the kool-aide for the show just because it is a comic book series I enjoyed.

 

There is no mistaking the series has had at least 25% filler episodes.

 

Most shows completely suck starting at season 4. I never heard such criticism of the show till now from the many people I talked water cooler with about the show. Some are comic book fans while others first heard of Walking Dead because of the show so I get a lot of different perspectives.

 

I am not being negative as much I am just be honest.

 

Hopefully season 4 will be epic because it needs to be if Kirkman wants to continue on TV.

 

Mark my words this season will make or break the show.

I was put off by the size. A 8 1/2" X 14" panel page is too small for my liking, in fact I detest them. A good splash that size is tolerable, but those little panel pages turn me off.

 

I understand that some people are turned off by the size. But the art is the same dimensions as a modern comic, so if I'm gonna put a comic on my wall to look at, the art - to me, is no different. Same size.

 

I think when it comes down to it, some of Adlard's art is detailed enough to tolerate the smaller pages, and some of it isn't.

When I was looking for WD OA I specifically wanted the larger art. I also wanted something early in the series....it had to have Rick and if a zombie was in there...okay but I wanted the story to be cool.

I ultimately decided on the Zombie's in the barn story arc because I enjoyed that surprise in the book and show a lot!

This showed up at my house today. A huge heartfelt thanks to Roy, Vince, and especially my Dad.

Pardon my ignorance but why is a walker page better than having a great page with Rick or other main characters?

If it's a walker getting shot by someone...I get it...but just to get walkers seems boring to me

@ TBP. It's very simple math. Just average out each page. Walker page vs. Non-walker page will vary. Action vs. non-action and main character vs. non-main character. etc.... I have already done the math, and yes IMO it would exceed 10k.

Exactly....he had all the weapons with him...left all the elderly and children back at Woodbury. How can he go back and tell those people everyone is dead?

I'm not sure why people think there was no cliffhanger this season....

What will happen to Rick and the group at the prison with all those new people? Will they try to take over Woodbury? What will happen with the Gov, Martinez and the other guy (I forgot his name)?

By the way, Maggie in the Riot suit was hot.

I highly doubt that the introduction in the preview will be monumental. Comics post is more spoileriffic than a name and that's just a general statement.

 

I spoiler tagged it just so nobody else thinks their life is over because of it.

I've been meaning to read it again from start to finish again now that the show is over for several months.

I tried reading some new stuff and it's just blah....I didn't like manhattan project or saga.

Walking Dead Season Finale Ratings Sets More Records

 

I am sure it did well in the ratings. Star Wars Episode I did well at the box office because of the hype.

 

Hype sells a lot, but if the hype stops so does the ratings in future episodes.

 

I would say more than half the people I am friends with on Facebook were majorly disappointed in the finale from their posts. All of them have never read the comic book series.

Then stop watching! We get it. You didn't like it. Move on.

So much negativity...I loved the show. I'm sad it's gone for months...

Each season has had some episodes better than another. Some were okay and others were great. Season 2 also had some okay parts. But the show is so much fun and I just don't want to rip it apart like some do.

I don't think those people will have time to last....I think the Gov comes back fighting when they arent expecting it and a bunch of the elderly die....

I'm hoping for issue 48 to come alive and have the Gov go out in a blaze of glory. I also think Morgan will come back....
