  1. Brave and the Bold #146 Whitman Fine -- asking $6 + shipping Solid book with light wear.
  2. It would be nice to get TTA and TOS out of the way early, not to mention Strange Tales. Those pre-hero heavy auctions are great, but sometimes tough to wait up for past my bedtime.
  3. Agree but you never know how high the winning bidder would have gone. His max bid could have been to the moon. In some cases, I think certain players put in an uber high bid to make sure they win, especially on single highest graded, variants, etc. Definitely true, but in those cases where I am outbid by a little bit I wonder if I could have had a shot.
  4. Brave and the Bold #145 Whitman VG -- asking $3 + shipping General wear, light stain to upper corner of back cover that does not affect interior.
  5. Brave and the Bold #138 F/VF -- asking $3 + shipping Very similar story, and a press would improve it.
  6. I've got a few Brave & the Bold books in the #136-151 range that I will post to break up the JLAs a bit. Brave & the Bold #136 F/VF -- asking $3 + shipping Solid enough copy, light spine and edge wear, a press would clean it up a fair bit.
  7. Justice League #108 F/VF -- asking $11 + shipping Solid copy with light spine and edge wear (another pressing candidate, if you would like).
  8. Justice League #106 Fine -- asking $6 + shipping Nice book if not for the wear mid-spine. Has a nice ad for Prez #1 on the interior, not something you see every day.
  9. Justice League #104 VF -- asking $17 + shipping Maybe the nicest book I have listed in this group thus far. Very light wear, glossy, the chip at the upper right corner is really the worst of it.
  10. Justice League #103 VF- -- asking $13 + shipping ($19 in OSPG VF) Nice copy, light spine and corner wear and NCB edge wear. A press should get this up to strict VF, if you're into that sort of thing.
  11. Justice League #102 F++ -- asking $12 + shipping Looks nicer, but has a small tear with bending on the back cover lower left corner. Otherwise just some light spine wear and NCB wear. Glossy.
  12. Justice League #101 F/VF -- asking $14 + shipping Solid and glossy copy. Light spine wear, tiny creases at some corners, tiny tear to left edge of back cover. Nice pages.
  13. Justice League #100 Fine -- asking $13 + shipping ($18 in OSPG Fine) Flat, very glossy copy. Light spine wear and a bit of edge wear on right edge of front cover. Back cover starting to tan a bit.
  14. Several hundred dollars bothers me a heck of a lot less than being sniped by $5. If someone wants to pay strong money over my bid I tip my cap, but losing by a tiny amount plays right into the second guessing game.
  15. The SS copy had the Stan Lee signature across Moon Knight's face, so that poor placement likely affected the hammer price of the signed copy.
  16. Great book! You may want to specifically add the following: Return options? Shipping details? Payments accepted? References (since you only have 7 posts on here)
  17. Justice League #91 Fine -- asking $11 + shipping SOLD Solid book with general light wear. Edge wear on right edge of front cover, bit of a ding in the lower right corner. No ink on top edges of pages.
  18. Ok, bit of a break for some eye surgery. They both work now. Justice League #88 F or F+ -- asking $10 + shipping Just general light wear, two neat stripes of green ink on top edges of pages.
  19. I’ve never seen that many of the same issue, but I’ve seen 4-5 copies of the same DCU at places within the last 2-3 years. I’ve wondered if it’s possible that overstock from back in the day could have been sold off in bulk. The likelihood of a shop amassing this many copies through collection purchases seems unlikely.
  20. Congrats! I’m staying on the sidelines this month, but that was the book that almost tempted me into bidding.
  21. There are two types of inner well (at least), and all the older slabs definitely have them. You may not see the wells at the upper corners, but you’ll see the welds around the edges inside the slab.
  22. I am powerless to resist a Rick Starr sales thread.
