  1. What the heck is going on with the label notes? I caught that too, but you beat me to it. Yes, I pointed out this problem to CGC by sending a scan. Unfortunately, in order to get this corrected, I'm going to need to send it in. They said that I wouldn't be charged for correcting the problem, but I believe that I'm going to end up paying for shipping. Since it is their mistake, it seems like they should ship it back to me on their dime, but we'll see. It appears that CGC entered the book into the database as the X-Men 1991 series. I checked the census and there is a 9.2 entered into the census in issue #59 census for issue #59, X-Men 1991 I just got a TOS #99 that had been mislabeled as a TTA #99 fixed by dropping it off at a con (WW Austin) where CGC was taking submissions. They fixed it and shipped it back to me free of charge, so that would be an option for you.
  2. It's tough to follow a ridiculous WM copy with my books, but I got these beauties back today:
  3. Who says this thread has to only be about ASM? These are two rarities in high grade that I just got back from CGC today. The #54 is one of three graded copies and tied for highest graded, the #55 is the very first graded copy of this issue. Most of the Super Stories have a total census population of way under 10 graded copies per issue, it is a tough series...
  4. Just got these back from CGC today. The #54 is only the third graded copy and tied for highest graded. The #55 is the first graded copy of this particular issue, so even at only a 9.4 is a VERY tough book. I'm extremely happy with them!
  5. Strange Tales Annual #1 This beauty belong to a boardie? I'm on my way out and don't have time to check registry sets...
  6. You need to take some pics of Hulk books on that table... Cool books!
  7. Just an awesome sight to behold. Thanks for sharing!
  8. I just got mine late last week, so yours should be on the way!
  9. You just had to sneak a WW book into a Marvel thread! I think we'll let it go this time!
  10. IDK, the guy has good feedback, been on eBay 12 years, and recently sold two other Marvel SA keys and got good feedback on them both. If I didn't already have a copy, I might make a run at it. Plus he did disclose the color touch. That is also a lot of disclosure for eBay.
  11. Nice, thanks for sharing! My copy isn't quite that nice but it'll do for the time being. I say this a lot, but I need to get more of my raw books scanned in...
  12. Nice copy, I hope it does well for you! I just got a CGC 6.5 for Christmas so I was letting my raw undercopy go (though with a press it would likely be in the same zip code as my graded book). Did anyone see the gorgeous 9.4 up in the Clink auction? Stunning (and WAY out of my price range)!
  13. Just a nice cover to the thread with. I scanned it in for a sales thread and thought I would share.
  14. That is a gorgeous #13! Another tough one because of the dark cover. I really need to get a lot of my raw books scanned in... Because I feel the need to procrastinate this morning, here is a scan of my #16. A servicable copy, but definitely not in the same zip code as that 7.0!
  15. Gorgeous copy with bright colors! That one has always been tough for me, and I finally bought a lower grade copy with nice eye appeal just as a hole-filler until an elusive higher grade copy came along. I'd love a copy like yours!
  16. You could always start one. I just started an ASM #1 club because I was stunned to learn that there wasn't one of those either... EDIT: I just checked on the Sgt. Fury #1 club and there is one, it just fell to page #5 of the SA room. I'll bump it for you. That's not a club, it's just a thread talking about a high grade up for auction. My mistake. I just didn't want to give him the wrong info and then have someone jump on him because he didn't use the search function. Better safe than sorry sometimes!
  17. You could always start one. I just started an ASM #1 club because I was stunned to learn that there wasn't one of those either... EDIT: I just checked on the Sgt. Fury #1 club and there is one, it just fell to page #5 of the SA room. I'll bump it for you.
  18. +1. I would love a copy, but the 4.0ish books I would like are around a grand and there are other books in that price range I would like to pick up first.
  19. I don't know if this is so much a lack of interest as it is the fact that I would guess that TTA #27 is the rarest of the SA Marvel keys. It gets plenty of love, but there are just too few out there! I know I don't have one yet, but not for lack of trying!
  20. This book was voted the Best TTA Pre Hero Cover by the Boards last year. I know it's my favorite ! That cover has always been a favorite of mine too!
