It's easily a 9.4 or better book otherwise, and I think a qualified grade would have been better.

You should let me pre screen your books for you. Are you cheaper than CGC pre-screening? ($4/book, iirc)

a steal @ $31 on Comiclink a few months back. Pedigree too!

I said it before, but for about $1k used on Ebay , you can get an Epson GT-2000, which is an insanely good scanner. 9600 dpi 11.70" x 17" bed 600 x 1200 dpi Hardware and up to 9600 dpi total. Here's a sample scan that I had to crop down.. It's still 5mb, so be wary. (the original full slab is 30mb at 1200 dpi) The detail and color accuracy is insane. Scan Example

This new Rocketeer is described as a "limited series" but I cant find any reference to the number of expected issues. I did just get a #1 sketch variant graded 9.9!

Unfortunately (or fortunately) yes; like 4 variants per issue.

here ya go. The pic on the website is accurate as there is no logo. It's very hard to tell in the scan, but Betty (and only Betty) is glossy. The rest of the cover is matte. I picked up 5 and they are in stunningly nice shape. If I've every held a 9.9 or a 10, it's one of these books. I tried to capture the gloss.. You can see on her left knee where the reflection of the ceiling fan light breaks where the gloss is on her leg, but isn't on the cloth... edit: I might have gone a little overboard on Rocketeer. I don't buy many moderns (just this and Moon Knight, really), but in addition to having this issue and the standard variants on BeachBum's 9.8+ service, I picked up all this too.
