No disrespect intended, but this story sounds a lot like the old "I sent you a boat and a helicopter" story. God does not want you to make this monstrosity!

Please rename this thread "stock_rotation celebrates Mr. Lady Luck's excellence as a seller". 3rd purchase from Dan continued the unbroken string, and I am currently awaiting delivery of the 4th!

Did the OP just make a typo, and really meant Action Comics 30? Leo Nowak is credited with inks on that cover, and it sure looks like Superman is flying.
Although in the book itself, a panel that visually suggests flying is explicitly called a leap in the text:

Super-friendly and easygoing seller. Bought a few books that were exactly as described. Included immediate, bomb-proof packaging. I can't wait to purchase from him again!

Pickings are slim around here. In Cranston, RI, you could check out the Time Capsule, they have some SA on the wall. Very little Gold hangs around at that shop.
In my experience, New England Comics in Quincy, MA is your best bet. They have a Gold/Silver room (or did, anyway... I haven't visited since the pandemic).

Gay Comics #24 // Fair // $45
Centerfold is detached and the bottom 20%-25% of the back cover is missing. Otherwise complete and a perfect reader copy.
Nice cover too.

Yeah same people/series but I cant find any for sale or price on the book I showed let alone a pic of it. I would assume not many where even printed of it. Probably not worth much but you never know. As mentioned a list I found the listing for this book is completely blank. Its listed but with no info unlike majority of the books on the ashcan list. Just says shadow warriors 1988 issue 0 ? and then no pic or any other info unlike the rest.
Be the change you wish to see in the world! Send them the photos and page count.
It looks like the front cover of the ashcan ended up being the back cover of the Shadow Warrior book.

A cameo is when a well-known character appears briefly, such as if Professor X was on Page 30 of The New New Warriors.
Word up.

Does anyone own a copy of The Outsiders #1, published by the University of Rhode Island in 1971?
I'm not looking for the reprint found in Abraxas #1, but the original 6 x 9 version.
I'm looking for an image of the back cover. Also willing to buy, if you are selling.
Thanks

So, is it a fake? As in someone recreated a comic to pass as an original?
Or is it a reprint someone is selling as an original?
Either scenerio isn't right, I'm just curious if people are printing fakes.
Yes, this is a photocopy (sourced from digital scans available all over the internet) printed on the newer gen of laser copier/printers. These machines will print, fold, staple and trim the book to size. There are dozens of sellers on ebay selling books like this. Most call it a replica. I watched the first few minutes of the video, and as the buyer was walking towards the camera holding the book I knew exactly what he bought. Just the way the book separates at the centerfold without the book flopping over his hand, you can tell it's not newsprint. The paper they use in those copy machines is like a 70# weight paper; newsprint is about 20# weight.
