I see where you are coming from & couldn't agree more.No one does WOW every time.As I have gotten older I haver come to appreciate artist like Charles Vess & Mike Kaluta more than I did when they were in their hayday.I guess I just like their style. Strenko had some WOW moments but I don't actively collect him.

How about an example of what "WOWS" you.I understand your statement but curious.Some of Kirby's full page cosmic scenes had that WOW factor and a few by Starlin come to mind but even a WOW shot may not be by one of my favorites.

Get Down America.Howard the Duck for President in 2024!!! HTD is one of my "keeper" series.Before all the reboot nonsense,I collected pretty much all of Howard's guess spots.#1 is still a classic in so many ways.THe latter issues are weak but I'm keeping them. Oh yeah.Got the mags too

Awesome collection.I have always loved the square bound books,Marvel or DC and pick them up when I can.There were a lot of cool ones in the 1970s also.

I've had the same feeling myself. Iron Man 1 through Endgame is gonna be really hard to live up to.But I can always hope I'm wrong.

The only time travel stories I like are Back to the Future trilogy and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure And Avengers Forever. Seriously though,I don't think the TVA are what they are say they are.If Kang is involved all bets are off.

My wife has no interest in my collection other than "You're not gonna leave them there are You?" When I do start talking about them,she gets that glazed look in her eyes and I know to shut up before she goes to sleep.l Tried to get my Grandkids interested but just too much other stuff to catch their attention.I'm 50 miles away from the LCS and my buddies I collected with all moved away.I have one friend that collects & sells but right now he spends most of his time taking care of his Mom who has Alzheimer’s. And truthfully,sometimes I wonder why bother.Collecting is way less fun when you can't share it.

About time Mr.Hellpop got his own thread.There is some really awesome stuff out there besides Marvel & DC that gets overlooked. I would like to see Nexus & Badger go back to the Bowl Shaped World.
