    Pretty sure it was Thor 175.Read it to death.I even remember reading the letters page and someone explaining how no one but Thor could lift the hammer.The next one was Thor #191 & & 193 was the first back issue I ordered. So much good stuff from 70/71.Somewhere in there was Captain America,Captain Marvel,Lois Lane & Avengers.By the time the Picture Frame covers came out I was buying everything I could afford.

    Been reading Fables & I am up to Vol.15 of the trades.I have never gotten into trade editions for a series before,always been a floppy guy from way back,but I gotta' admit this is the way to go for reading something outside my usual wheelhouse.Fables is a great run and when I finish it up I will check out Fairest. After that I will probably revisit Dreadstar,Fish Police & Miracle Man in no particular order.Maybe Captain Marvel & Warlock after that.Too many choices.

    About 50 pages into Jonathan Strange & Mr.Norrell.Couldn't pass it up for $1.I have a lot of trounle reading anything this long anymore.I have the attention span of a gnat but I do like the way it is written.Will try to make it through.

    My parents picked me up one around 1969 for 50 cents at a discount store.Loved the out of it.Folded it up and took it to school for Show & Tell.Went right over everyone's head.It was truly beat to death & I taped it up with masking tape.Let it go when I sold my collection in early 2000's.Luckily I found a better copy on Ebay for $40.The woman sent it rolled up in a tube.A few years back I saw some adertised for sale from a warehouse find.I had posted a pic here but that was before the great purge & it got lost.If & when I sell out again,I'll keep my Wham-O.

    Makes sense.I list on Ebid and I get lots & lots of views with very very few sales and I'm pretty sure it's bots.Also on Ebay I watch items without viewing the page first.Esp. if it's right before I log off or in a hurry.

    Been really enjoying binge reading Fables.I found the first 15 trades for a killer price.Barley missed the rest on Ebay but ,oh well.I also have a chance to pick up a near full run of Fairest and was wondering if it is as well done as the original Fables run & maybe later on get the Jack run.I will be actually reading them so what is the consensus? Worth the time or quit after the Fables run?

    I remember reading this back when it came out and really loved the concept.I even named a D&D character after him.It's a shame Chaykin never took this someplace else.Guess Marvel wouldn't turn it loose.
