AF15 7.5 ended at 62k. Down a bit, but the staple placement may have had a lot to do with it; I wouldn't have bought it just because of the staples. I think one sold privately for 70, another for 68, so a dip could mean the end is near!!! \:\) Then we look at the 6.0. I don't get it...

Cream will hurt the price a little. I know a lot of people are OK with cream, but for me it's a deal killer. With more than 2-days left it's at 23k. It may make that 9.0 last year for 75k look like a bargain.

After 78 pages is it possible that both BB54 and BB60 are both the first appearance of the Teen Titans. 54 has them together as a group and they are officially named in 60 and both books would share the same weight as being the first with 54 only having an edge of them being together as a group for the first time? Then it would be up to the collector like 180 and 181 is a debatable first appearance. If after 78 pages this can't be decided then it's possible that both sides are right. This is a Jack and Coke rant.

I'm at a loss for what a nice presenting 7.5 or 8.0 would go for after seeing these spikes. There is next to zero GPA data. I doubt I would be able to touch an 8 though... It's funny how these bronze age books back in 2009 were going for 30k and are now at 7.5k while these older rare SA books were being ignored. Off topic.... That IH181 came crashing out of the gate. There is also a really nice DD1 in 9.6 too.

The CGC census is wrong too. Book 1205650002 does not show up and was probably very recently submitted. There should be 2 in 9.0 and 2 in 9.2. I understand the gift grade now and why. I think the last time I looked there was 2 in 9.0 and 1 in 9.2 so someone CPR'ed their 9.0?

Wow. That is a brutal gift grade. The owner of this book will be disappointed IMHO. I think a boardie owned it (not me). Some staple stress. Corner bumps and spine ticks. What do you think it should have graded at? This is the only other copy I've even seen:

I agree seems low for what AF15 has done lately. Keep in mind CGC has been quite strict with there grading policy. It can be quite risky for a regrade. I don't think that book would come back a 9.0 again. I hate to say it. There's too much going on with the spine and ticks here and there. upper and lower hits on the left too. I would leave it as is.

There is only a few 8.0 with off-white and all 8.5's with cream/white. Showcase 22 in cream/off white is the norm. You high standards will cut you out in 8.0's copies. You tracked them? I wish they had a way to sort PQ on the census. I was waiting for an 8.5 ow or better. Now I know why I never have seen one.

The 7.5 staples are a bit off. The 7.0 is creamed. I don't think these will set new highs.

The census has grown a lot from 8.5-9.2 post TV show announcement and it doesn't seem to be dragging down the prices at all.

I would consider having that 7 regraded considering I've seen FF1s go from a 7 to an 8 and then to an 8.5 while being the same book. That 7 looks under graded to me. FYI there was a 70k sale of a 7.5 AF15 not too long ago. It just didn't make it on GPA.
