You are a tool.
I think dooshpizzle is more appropriate (thumbs u

Wait, is this the Avengers 1 where the characters were drawn at the top of the spine and looked like a 5 year old re-drew them?
If it is, there is NO possible way that you didn't know it was restored.
That's all besides the point though in my and many others book due to Octobers statements. Why would October be lying about you telling him you knew it was restored and were gonna sell it anyways? I don't know October very well but every dealing ie had with him was as straight up as possible. I would trust him 100% (thumbs u

They're around...I got mine at an auction in Pennsylvania, after 5 years or so of searching.
Some folks here have had luck at flea markets, and with local Craigslist sellers. The common thread in all the spinner rack success stories I've read here on the Boards is that patience and diligence in the search generally pays off.
Good luck!
Nice rack!
btw, do yourself a favor and pop that potato gun out of the package and play with it! My LCS sells though and i bought my son and daughter 1 and a couple potatoes. Those things work AWESOME and we had a blast with them for a couple weeks before they got tired of them.

Awesome book!
I always LOVED the MTA's when i was a kid. The Avengers were my favorite group and i couldnt afford to buy Avengers back issues. The MTA's would be in the 10 for a dollar box at my LCS as a kid so i could at least buy those and read the old Avengers stories

I dont think ive ever posted this in here but i got this about 20 years ago at a 50% off sale at my LCS for like $10. Damn rats!!!

Thanks! The Curators are as nice as you can get! I also have the Curator 22 and 45 but that's it. You don't see them very often for sure. I can't remember where but I did just see an early Avengers 9.8 Curator but it was like 15k so definitely out of my price range!

I rarely post here, but would like to start doing so more often...
these trickled in over the past couple of weeks (only check my PO box about once a month, so it's kind of like christmas when i do).
these are the two comics i was most excited about from the batch!

One of the best Avengers covers there is imo

A couple GREAT buys from boardies

Great books, Mitch. The Suschas have been a big find for us Picture Frame fans. Especially for the non-hero titles like horror and Westerns.
+!
Those Suscha books are AWESOME!
I'm not much for the non-hero titles so i cant speak to those but all the Suscha books i've bought look amazing. When the Ped 1st came out, i heard a LOT of people badmouthing them saying they got gift grades but ive been nothing but impressed with every issue ive seen other than maybe 3-4. The BA books are flat out incredible and have some of the brightest, glossiest covers ive ever seen

another TTA..
That is AWESOME! I always LOVED that cover!
A year or two ago there was a BEAUTIFUL 9.2 copy on eBay that got sniped out from under me at the last second. I'm still stinging over not getting that book!
Congrats!!!

Well at least I'm not paying stupid prices like I did in 2007 ... yikes!!!Thanks for the comments guys. I think I'll slowly get back to my Avengers run, but this GA thing has seriously side-tracked me.Yeah, sticking with GA sounds like a GREAT idea! You definitely shouldn't be buying SWEET Avengers Pedigrees like that insane 37
Tell me about it!
I wasn't collecting back then but now when I look on GPA and see some of those prices Dom back then.....YIKES!!!! It's hard to believe Avengers were ever getting those kind of prices!

Holy mess!!!

Anyone can name the bet and I'll take it! That book WILL be sold (thumbs u
Not if one of the big guns own the book and need it to top out their collection.
If Brulato or TempusFugitivus or Schmell (or similar) own it there is a good chance it won't be sold.
That's true. I didn't consider that one of them maybe pressed up. I just assume by now those guys have maxed out their major books but maybe not.

The real question is who hit the lotto by pressing up their 9.6???

Cool, sounds like I should be fine unless I try to use Fingh's feminine wiles to bring his price down
I really wanted that book from this dude, too. It was a GA Submariner that had the first appearance of the ankle wings. It was long enough ago that I probably was fixated on GPA or guide or some combination thereof.
And leave off my wiles, or I'll bump the Moves Like Jagger thread . . .
Apparently my feminine wiles are more attractive than yours Sean!!!
I didn't hear back from him about possibly adding a few more books and working a group deal but he did accept the two "best offers" that I put in the other day. I'm pretty sure this is the 1st time EVER that I've had a best offer accepted
Two AWESOME Avengers Peds are now on their way to me!!!

That is frigging sweet!!! One of the few DD books I'd like to get someday.
Congrats!
Thanks!
Why wait for someday? There is a 9.6 on eBay right now...
I don't even want to know what that would run! Unfortunately, I have 10 million and one books ahead of it in line that I gotta figure out a way to pay for

18th. Tax day is the 17th this year.

Ah, good to know. That makes sense. If he's a tax accountant I may not hear from him til the 16th
