Ditto on the 72! That is a REALLY nice book! I didnt see what it ended up going for but with that cover, thats a "at any price" book in my mind. The 83 is sweet also of course but that 72 cover is a stunner!

They must ALL be like that. I just looked at the 9.6 and 9.4 from CL last night and they both have the exact same shape as the others. So both of yours and all 3 HG's on CL last night all have it. Never noticed that before.

I did not win this one but how beautiful is that cover on the 9.2 25??? I was so focused on the 14 yesterday, i never really considered this one until it was too late. I wish i would have forgot about the 14 and went after this one last night. Kicking my self bigtime! I cant stop looking at that cover!

Thank you! Does anyone know, i couldnt tell, is that a big crease at the top or just a glare from the case? Either way, i still love it. Figured it was a glare or if it is a fault, the rest of the book looks like a 9.8. Still a great looking cover imo.

Here was my haul from the Spidey lot. Missed a few i would have loved to have but REALLY happy with these 2 books. In my eyes, both look VERY nice for the grade and price.

Sorry! Does anyone know if a boardie got either ASM 25's? The 9.2 was BEAUTIFUL! Looking at the pics again now, i really, really regret now chasing the 9.2 ASM 25. Whoever got that is loving life right now. What did anyone else get?

Thank you! I thought they both looked damn nice and imo, the 48 was dirt cheap. I was prepared to go a decent amount higher. The 52, went right about where i wanted so i'm pretty stoked even after missing the 4.0 AF 15 and the 9.2 ASM 14. I hear ya with the #10. I came REAL close to doing the same with the 14. I wanted it BAD and almost chased it regardless of price. At the last second though, i figured i'd be better off getting a few ASM(48,52) hopefully a few FF, and a few X-men i REALLY want for the same price as the 14 would have cost me. Of course though, if i dont get the FF or X-men i want, i'm gonna be kicking myself for not chasing the 14!

How much did the #14 bump up? The 9.2 #25 just jumped up about 33%, $300! 4375.00 That was a tiny bit over my max. Oh well. Couldn't sit around and wait for the FF's though. I got the 9.6 48 and the 9.4 52. Two books that i really like and 2 of the last 4 that i dont have a raw copy of between 31 and 100. So, it wasn't a total loss. Would have liked to get either the 9.8 or 9.6 #64 ( I LOVE that cover) but both outbid me and wasn't willing to go higher. Gotta save some for a few X-men i MUST have (thumbs u

Here's a couple i got off Ebay a few weeks ago. A guy had a complete run from like 15-100 pretty much all in 9.6 white or better!

I think you should be ok with most of your books. I didnt see any problems with the site while your books were going so you had the legit max bid on the books you won. Of course, there could be some people like me kicking themselves that they didnt go higher that now have another shot but i'd bet that you're pretty safe. I think you listed 5 books that you won last night. I'd guess that at least 3 of those probably will stay right where you got them. Good luck! It's definitely a bad situation for people like you but hopefully will turn out the same for you.

Please don't soil my Fantastic Fours. ! Judging from the books you have in your sig line, i dont think you have to worry about me. The ones i'm going after are PROBABLY higher issues than you are looking at. Then again, I may have a few surprises up my sleeve tonight

Nice pickups! I've been kicking myself all night for not going higher on that 9.2 14 and the 4.0 AF 15. Still not sure if i will go higher on the 14 though. If that damn 4.0 AF 15 was back up, i would DEFINITELY go higher.

Sure looks that way! My "3 free" books have been sitting as "verified" for awhile now. No way they get done in "20 business days" at this point.

It definitely is a bad situation. People like you that went to bed last night with a book in their account may go to bed without that book tonight. I would be VERY upset if i had won the 14 and had to rebid it tonight.

Thanks! Yeah, i was actually a little worried about a 8.0 or 7.5. I figured it was about a 9.0 without the little bit of chipping which seemingly was pretty close. I thought i had marked imaging but realized i didnt too late and by the time i called them, they already had it graded and packed for shipping. Their other times may be slow but the walkthru service was FAST. According to USPS, my package was delivered at 10:18 am and they had it marked as graded on their site by like 4pm at the latest.

Yeah, i think you are getting screwed on your #12! I was bidding on the #14 and things were definitely working fine at that point. Whoever it was outbid me fair and square and now i have a chance to go back and outbbid him. Unfortunately, after i missed that, i got a few books i wouldnt have if i got the 14. Now i gotta decide if i'm gonna use the money i had earmarked for a few FF's and Xmen to rebid on the ASM 14

Count me in! My #1 was just marked as graded yesterday and should have it back in a day or 2 from CGC. I'll post a pic when i get it back but it got a 8.5 ow/w

Seems the Invaders are only around in midgrade or super high grade. I havent spent alot of time looking but most i've seen are either in the 8's(which is lower than i want) or 9.6-9.8 which usually go for more than i wanna spend on them. Haven't seen many of them in 9.2-9.4 at reasonable prices or i would have gotten alot more of the run in the last few months. They are addictive!
