I just got an email a few minutes ago from Clink that they charged my card so i assume my SC22 is there and on it's way to me

(thumbs u I fee incredibly lucky i didnt end up with a PLOD. Seems like he is getting better though at least. Apparently, he cracked a 8.5 and tried to sell it as a 9.2-9.4. Thats better than cracking 7.0's or PLOD's and selling as 9.2-9.4's. Maybe in another 10 years or so, he'll actually NOT be scamming people and sell them as they are! Not likely but one can dream

VERY nice!!! Thats quite a score to get from a raw purchase on a #5! Other than maybe #8, #5 is probably the hardest early Iron Man to find in high grade. Congrats

Lower than i had hoped for on both but not too bad. I bought the X-men 6 raw at a LCS in the mid 90's for real cheap so cant be too upset. I was hoping for an 8.0+ and ow pages but what can you do???

He said that they probably wouldn't charge me again for shipping since it was in the computer to combine them and he couldn't figure out why they didn't. Tracy wasn't in today because of the storm but he said hopefully today she will be and he'll talk to her about it. He said she'll probably just comp the shipping on the SC22 and he'll let me know when he talks to her. Don't get me wrong, I'll take free shipping any day! I was a little disappointed when they wouldn't give me free shipping after the November auction when I got the AF15 and a bunch of other books since my buyers fee was so high. At this point though, I just want to get the freaking book wether I have to pay shipping or not!

SOP for a reprint Really? I figured it would at least say "reprint", who did the cover art, something. It definitely looks a little strange looking at it with nothing but the grade. Oh well, it knocks me down to only 4 xmen to go to fill my 1-350 run, so i'll take what i can get!

I just talked to Clink and hopefully all is ok with my SC22 They said the other books were shipped out by accident and that as far as they know, the SC22 is hopefully on the way. They did say that they should have had the book by now and that they will call the seller to find out the status and get back to me. I hope it's just slow with the holidays and weather but I guess I'll find out pretty soon what the deal is.

At least it's a 9.0. If it gets resubbed and drops to a 8.5 with light tan pages then you really have a book you'll never get your money back on! No way would I resub that book if I had bought it.

I just tried to call Clink and check on the status of the SC22 and got their voicemail. I assume they are probably closed today being Christmas Eve so looks like i wont be able to find anything out until Monday

I got the bid accepted and book still available email but I haven't paid for it yet. They have my CC but the email says they will bill it the day it ships. When I talked to them the other day they confirmed that and said they hadn't billed me yet and would the day they shipped the book. Now I'm getting a tiny bit worried

I won 6 small books in the e-better auction and called them and told them to hold the books and ship it with the SC22. They said no problem since they didn't have the 22 yet, marked it in the computer and I changed my shipping address. Just checked my email and I have one from CL confirming shipping and a tracking#. The email says 6 items shipped I really,REALLY hope this is just a little screwup and NOT that I'm getting a follow-up email tomorrow that the SC22 isn't available

Psst, you do know you own the first appearance of that vulture? The first vulture is an old man, the guy in ASM 48 just got his suit. Yeah, i have the 1st Drago Vulture's. Hopefully, someday i can get the Toomes vultures but it's going to be a LONG time probably. What can i say, i guess i like skinny old men in bird suits

That ASM annual 1 is SWEET even with the PLOD. WHITE pages, pretty damn impressive (thumbs u My wife just called and my 9.6 ASM 64 from edgerx got delivered at home an hour ago. I cant wait to get home at stare at it and my 9.6 ASM 48 together, two of my favorite Spidey covers. Now, i just have to win the lotto/rob a bank so i can afford HG copies of the earlier Vulture appearances
