Presents decently, but has some water damage.
Cover & VF are attached at the staples
Rust migration around the staples
Back cover has lost some of it's top layer.
Inner pags are actually decent except for where the rust stain in at the spine

That'd be a sweet job. Is the company hiring?
Because of the Pandemic and then the writers strikes his company "Crafty Apes" has had a ton of layoffs. He's been one of the lucky ones who still has his job. Part of that is because of seniority within the company, and part of that is because he's really good at the job.
I think it's a pretty bad time to get into the visual effects world. We really need movies to fully recover and for Marvel to start hitting some home runs. Maybe Deadpool will be the start of that.

I'm very impressed with his rivets. Well, everything actually. These look terrific. I can't do those small eyes on certain characters, so I ended up printing on water decal paper for a transfer.
My son is super detail oriented. As a kid he spent hours making legos and meticulously taking apart his GI Joes and putting them back together. It's why he is a good visual effects creator. He can spend hours focused in on somthing like it's nothing.

Any chance you/him would share a pic of his mold? Steel??? Rubber (how does it withstand the pressure)?? Doing injection molding in a home shop seems nuts...
I was wrong.... it's not injection. It's a Rubber mold with an A B poured plastic mixture put in a pressure pot to remove bubbles as the plastic cures.

My son creates Visual Effects for many of our Comic Book movies. When he's not doing that he's been getting into custom Action Figures.
On these Deadpool figures He does his own injection molds using red plastic. He 3-D prints the guns, swords, and sword sheathes. Does the detail painting, then clear coats the whole figure.
If you're interested he's got 2 left of the 1st batch he made. He's making more but there's a lot of work involved and it's time consuming.

Hesitated to post because all I could think of was trying to guess what the original Joe was ?
I'm sure it's obvious to everyone but me, my guess is srgt slaughter cause he is the one that I think has suspenders?
There is possibly another I can think of that has a white shirt that I can picture but don't know the name of that might also be Star Wars!
Edit to say Srgt slaughter was wrestling? Joe? Both?
My son told me he made a mold from the GI Joe called "WetSuit". It's a Rubber mold with an A B poured plastic mixture put in a pressure pot to remove bubbles as the plastic cures. He used "Deadpool red" plastic so he wouldn't have to paint any red.

My son made a mold from an old GI Joe figure and is doing injection molds using red plastic and then turning them into Deadpools. Pretty cool.
He 3D prints the swords and sheaths and they fit perfectly into the back pegs and then paints the final details.

On the back cover.... extreme left edge. Am I seeing a shallow crease? If so, it looks pressable.
I'll say 9.0 with 9.4 potential.
Super nice comic. Jealous.

Never seen that one before. There are so many Canadian copies from the late 40's, early 50's where you might see 1 or 2 copies surface in a decade.
There's only one other on the Census.
I sent this one in for grading today.
