  1. If they prepackaged all 6 comics, they wouldn't have needed to unpack anything before sending..... they just needed to drop all 6 into a small box and ship it to me. Easy peasy
  2. They aren't a comic seller (except for these) so I don't really think there's much to avoid. Non-comic people just don't seem to know how to ship comics. I had a small unbagged stack of comics taped together and shipped to me once. The tape actually touched every single comic in the stack. Arrrgh
  3. Luckily these weren't mega keys. But they were each in the $30 range. WAY too much work went into packing these.
  4. With care I got the comics out safely. None had bags/boards which I was suspecting. It took me about 30 minutes to open these..... that's a long time to spend opening a package.
  5. OK..... safely made it thru the fortress of cardboard and tape surrounding each comic. Now.... each comic has had a cardstock folder cut to the size of the comic and taped. It's going to be difficult getting the comics out without damage.
  6. I just opened the packages.....,., Everything looks fine but...... The cardboard was cut so it's exactly the same size as the cardboard. The packing tape is FULLY around the entire cardboard bundle of every comic making it near impossible to safely get the comic out.
  7. Another WTF moment in ebay shipping. I won 6 individual comic auctions from a single seller. Each individual auction said $10 for shipping, which I think is a pretty hefty shipping charge for 1 comic, but I wanted the comics so.... oh well. I asked for an invoice to combine all the auctions I had won together into 1 invoice (assuming I would get a shipping discount). Nope.... I got the invoice and it was $60 shipping for 6 comics. I emailed the seller to ask them if they could be a little more reasonable with the shipping price. I got them to lower it to $30.... still high, but at least the price came down a little. I open my mailbox today and this is what I pulled out. 6 individual packages. They're not even in the normal flat rate envelope which costs around $7.50, They're in a bubble mailer at $8.55/envelope. So they just paid $51.30 for postage on something they could have easily shipped for around $10 total. I appreciate they packed them well with stiff cardboard, but individually? What a waste of time and money.
  8. bee man bee dead Or..... Did we ever see what he looked like before he put his Hazmat suit on? Maybe he'll become a townsperson in the next episode (like Geraldine).
  9. Got it. I don't remember that moment, but it's probably there. That makes sense.
  10. Just watched the 4th episode. Very well done. In the credits they show "voice-over" credits for the different languages. I noticed they have Captain Marvel (Brie Larsen) on the list with the artist's name who does the voice over. Does that mean Brie Larsen is going to be in this show at some point?
  11. My rule of thumb is...... on key issues, pence copies are worth about 70% of cent copies. On non key issues pence are worth much less. It definitely fluctuates though.
  12. I bought my 5.0 raw for $3000 10 years ago Man, those were the days. Right place at the right time. Because it was raw I feared I was was overspending.
  13. At first I thought it meant they were all sword agents. Has anyone been able to blow up the images so we can read the documents?
  14. Just added this to my puzzle collection. Missing 5 pieces. I'll see if one of my junk puzzles has the pieces/shapes I need.
  15. From a Brazilian comic I just bought. I don't know what's happening in this panel, but apparently "Shazam" translates to "Schazan" in portuguese.
  16. Does anyone know what W/Vs address (2800) means? It seems like it's been so prominent in the episodes.
  17. Here's the other one I bought. Again.... horrible shape, but super cool. Subby is on the cover Check out the Titan Splash page. What's that from? Classic bondage torture. Anyone know what issue of Submariner that's from?
  18. These artistic changes are what make these foreign issues so special.
  19. Anyone recognize that Captain marvel cover? Or is that original art for this comic.
