  1. Starring.......... me! I had a "featured extra" roll (which is a step above "extra"). They wouldn't even let me take a selfie of what I looked like (cuz they confiscated our phones so I can't show you what I looked like). I did scenes with Vision & Darcy, but unfortunately not Wanda. When the episode with me happens I'll let you know who I was (unless I am completely cut out of the scenes, which happens all of the time). I shot about 5 or 6 small scenes so hopefully I'm in something.
  2. Looks like the back cover might be able to be cleaned up a little. CPR Upgrade?
  3. Just picked this up. I didn't realize it was Canadian until I got it. My bad. Bill Ward cover. The GCD doesn't show this cover (does that mean it's rare?)
  4. If I didn't own either of these comics I'd want the Cap 1. It might be my favorite cover of the GA. However..... I've owned 3 copies of Cap 1 in my life (I still have my conserved 5.5). Because I've never even touched a Marvel Comics 1 (and a person usually wants the thing they don't have), I'm going to say right now I want, and would rather have the Marvel Comics 1.
  5. What a great use of photoshop! I think Wonder Woman 1 or Sensation 1 might have made it even better.
  6. Lol.... these are the kinds of lots I LOVE to do my homework on on ebay. I've found many a great deal looking at large lots like this. I think the ebay buyers are now looking at the extra taxes they have to pay on lots like this.
  7. Thanks for doing this. I know I priced it less than GPA when I was figuring out a price... but that was a few months ago and I didn't feel like doing it again. Truthfully, as a buyer I've never had ANY problem doing my own homework on pricing bigger lots. I guess some people don't like to do it, but if you're a buyer isn't that part of your job? To figure out if it's a good deal or not?

  10. I was actually talking about the 4.5, but your 2.5 is nice too.
  11. That looks to be a very strict 4.5. Might be worth a press and regrade. Gorgeous copy.
  12. Yes, the Batman Rogues cards were very amateur too. Same artist? These new ones are very obviously art swipes from covers and pin-ups. Some kind of reference cards? Many of these are stamped DC on the back. That doesn't prove anything, but it's interesting. Those Batman cards went for a lot of money, I wonder how these will do?
  13. These just popped up on Ebay and they look strikingly similar to the Batman Rogue's Gallery cards that were sold on ebay last Spring. Looks like the same artist. Some of these are stamped "DC" on the back. Thoughts? Just more fan art from back in the day? Here's what it says in the description.... I won this card, along with several others, in an estate auction that was held in Northern New Jersey over 30 years ago. They were mixed in with some other original comic art pages created by DC Comics and Fiction House. I would date them to before 1944 just by doing a little research (IE: the look of Batman, Superman's logo, etc...) but I'm not exactly sure when they were created. These are in great shape, well drawn on thick illustration board cardstock, and very cool.
  14. I was SO looking forward to this movie. Big let down for me. Probably everything has been discussed in the last 10 pages of this thread, but here's a couple things I had problems with that completely took me out of the enjoyment of the movie. -If they're going to do a "wishing stone" story then why did they have to put Steve into someone else's body? It gave me the creeps to think Diana was actually sleeping with a man she didn't know (against his will?). Where did the consciousness of that man go? Was it suppressed within his brain as Steve took over? Did the man have STDs? -The jet Steve & Diana stole..... was it fully fueled when they stole it? Can a jet like that make it over to Egypt and back without refueling? Steve's flying expertise is in WWI aviation, how could he possibly fly this jet? When they flew thru the Fireworks it would have lasted less than a second in the jet, but they made it seem like they were flying thru fireworks for well over a minute. -Do children play on major highways in Egypt where convoys of military vehicles drive? It wasn't a residential street or even a county road, it was a highway. And when Diana saved the kids, it looked SO violent. That was like a full speed tackle. She probably killed them in saving them. -I never understood how Maxwell was able to take what HE wanted from the people he granted wishes to. How did he know he could do that? I have no problem suspending my disbelief for these movies UNLESS the movies require me to throw all science & reality out the window.
  15. Welcome to the boards Iceberg. That's about as strong an entrance as one can make. Gorgeous copy.
  16. I believe I've recovered all the photos if you've been trying to look at these.
  17. Do you still have a pic? Are you saying top, bottom, AND free edge all had DS? Almost seems like a "qualified" comic. I wonder if a Green Label 9.4 could be considered in a case like that?
  18. Cover is still attached at both staples, but is somewhat precarious/fragile at the top staple. Insides are excellent. It needs a press, but I'm afraid the cover will pop at the top staple. What do you think.... should I press it anyway and take the risk? Comic will look much nicer with a press even if the top staple pops.
  19. #2326 Cool Robot. Awesome screaming woman. What more could you want in a cover from this era.
