  1. Not a cover... but I really like this House ad
  2. This thread needs to be revived. I found this nice GGA house ad in Laugh Comics 171 today. Vavavoooom!
  3. No major tears or creases. The biggest problem is that the book has a little twist to it that may have been original to the binding. The cover is a little askew. Back cover has a tiny piece out at the bottom spine.
  4. I wanted to find out if there's any boardies who would be interested in owning this page. I would be happy to give it to you for free. I think it has value from a "comics history" perspective more than having any regular monetary value. If interested, PM me and I'll make it happen.
  5. I sold my AF15 4.0 for $47k here on the boards 2 years ago and thought I was incredibly savvy. Then I watched prices immediately shoot up to $55k, $60k, and then $75k and I thought I was the dumbest person in the world. Now I'm feeling pretty smart again Timing is everything. I kind of feel like Af15 is going to start it's march back up in price now. I wish I could buy back in.
  6. I'm putting together some Mashup covers as a fun project. Here's my second..... Combining a Horror comic with a Police comic.
  7. I hate to say this but, because it sounds blasphemous but.... you will make the most by separating wraps or pages and selling individually. Your centerfold looks to be in great shape. By itself it will sell for a lot. There are lots of people looking for Supe 1 centers. Or..... you can bide your time and try to complete a coverless copy. At this point in time I don't think a cover can be found. If your friend wants to keep it, then maybe go after a nice repro cover and get the NG grade
  8. 3rd highest price ever for 7.0. The 2 higher prices look more like outliers when plotted on the graph. I actually think it's a good price.
  9. Cover & CF are snug at the staples. 1/4" spine split at bottom. I think you can see everything else. Thanks
  10. I basically got this coverless Cow Puncher 6 for free in a stack of reader comics last week. While I wish it had the cover.... this is an example where the Splash page is almost as good.
  11. It's hard to believe, but someone bought a 5.0 for $100,000 last June. Major outlier, but it's still on GPA so I think it happened. Must have been an upgradable copy?
  12. "Frankly my dear.... I don't give a dam(n)" Apparently the part of Mr. Wayne is being played by Clark Gable.
  13. The Pif Paf editor's 4 year old son drew that cover perhaps. It's brilliant.
  14. This thread has really fascinated me. I decided to devote some creative time yesterday to making a piece of art. So I did a mashup of these two. Fun!
  15. Pretty decent copy. No hidden flaws. I think you can see everything from my photos. Cover & CF are snug. Super tiny stain on back cover spine.
  16. Star Trek 6 - Raw 6.0 Complete Unrestored Cover & CF are snug at staples. Hint of Foxing in upper left (top edge). Light crease upper left of back cover. $50
  17. I love this, but dang... I need to get the Veronica now.
