  1. Same year, but the Police Comic came many months before the Horror comic.
  2. Star Trek 2 - Raw 4.5 Complete unrestored. Cover & Cf are snug. Tiny light stain at top edge (doesn't even go thru to the inside cover). 1/4" spine split at bottom. Tiny piece missing from upper left back cover. Light crease lower right front cover. Interior looks great. $50

  7. HOS 12 (1958) raw unpressed unrestored Jack Kirby cover and interior story. This one presents high grade, but... there's a 1/2" split at the top spine and the top staple has cleanly popped thru the paper. I still see it as a 5.5 - 6.0 with the flaws $99

  12. I had to search a bit..... but I found where that Brazilian Ad came from: Adventure Comics 23 Here's the US version:
  13. Robot Man, I thought you might like this "Jr Federal Men Badge" ad that I found in a Brazilian comic (July 1939) I imagine you must have the badge, right?
  14. I agree, but it seems like almost every foreign comic I have that has a colored interior has the same registration problems. They slapped these together pretty quick I guess
  15. As I've picked up these Mexican Fantasticos I've had fun trying to identify the insides and sometimes there's something special. This one turned out to be Weird Science 21 which has a nice Frazetta/Williamson story within. Unfortunately the Mexican editor deleted their sigs from the Splash page of the story. (Is that so they didn't have to pay them?) Once again the inside coloring on a foreign comic is atrocious (see last pic. It wrecks Frazetta's art)
  16. Great pick up. Decent looking copy. I like the date stamp too.
  17. After a year of enjoying them I sold them on ebay I kind of wish I had them back.
  18. 10centcomics, I'm so sorry about this CGC error for you. Archie 47 is one of my favorite "Hidden Gems" of the GA Archie run because of those B&V pinups. I consider it a "key issue" because of the pin-ups. In my mind they're the 2 best PIn-ups of B&V in the GA. I actually have a small hoard of the comic (maybe 20 copies). I liked the pin-ups so much that I made some Archie 47 covers with the pin-ups on them. Just like when Graders check for cut out MVSs in the Bronze age, and missing Batman Posters in Batman 181, this is one of those comics where the first place a grader should check when presented with one is the Pin-ups because SO many of them are missing from this issue. I hope CGC makes this right for you.
  19. I agree, the Mall episode was lame. Last night's episode "delivered" though. Really well done.
  20. It's hundreds of different auction houses. You never know what you're going to get. Some are super professional and pack really well and take plenty of pics, and others are rinky dink know-nothing auctioneers who just throw comics in an envelope. I guess it's kind of the same with ebay. We all have horror stories about packages we've received.
