These are graded using the inner covers right?

Here's a couple of new additions for me. Restored... but I'm still happy to have them.

I finally found a masthead for my remaindered copy. Here's the result. I'm just happy to have another Af15 in the middle of this price explosion that's been happening, even if it's just a restored copy.

I just picked up this nifty Strange Tales 74 Double Cover. Is there a rule of thumb on how to value these? The inner cover looks to be about a 5.0-5.5

I've posted this before, but thought it was time to show it again.

Does the rust go thru to the inside of the cover? If it's just surface rust you might be able to carefully scrape it off with an x-acto knife. Be very gentile, and if it doesn't seem to work just stop, don't take any chances. I've had surface rust on a couple comics before and was able to clean it up nicely with some careful scraping. You never want to scrape "color" off of the cover... just rust.

Hey, it's got it's problems, but it also has some nice parts. The spine is actually very nice and NO marvel chipping. Do you suppose there's a way to get rid of those rust stains?

This one has been graded and is coming back to me. It graded as a Restored 3.5 B-1 Restoration includes: Tear seals to cover. I was hoping for a 4.0 but the water stain pulled it down I think.

This Af15 is now being shipped back to me. It got a Restored 3.5 B-2 Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover, tear seals to cover. I wanted a 3.5-4.0 so I'm more than happy with that. I'll post a pic when it comes in.

I had a copy of Flash 33 (or close) that had an interior to All-Flash 5 (or so) on the inside. I thought it was cool, but I actually had trouble selling it. I think many of the long time collectors have seen this printing mistake a few times. I personally don't think your FF will have an increased value. If it had a copy of Xmen 1 on the inside that would be a whole different thing.

I know it's tough to grade from a photo, but that FF1 sure looks nicer than a 6.5 to me. And White pages! Congrats on your copy, sorry it came down a half grade from Voldy.
