I have put comics into priority envelopes before, but forgot to scribble a little note on the envelope to let me know which comic is inside. Then when I get back from my printer with the labels I say "d'oh" and have to rip open up the envelopes to see what's inside. Stupid stupid stupid

Hey, there's a bunch of color breaks. If they get CTd, and the comic presents better, doesn't that mean a higher restored grade? I'm for Blue labels all the way, And have had CT removed from a handful of comics to get a Blue label, but when there's a lot of "Amateur CT bleedthru" then you simply can't remove the CT without seriously damaging the comic. In those instances I think you can try raising the "Apparent" grade. Why not? It would probably stay as a "Slight Amateur" (or whatever numeric designation they have now) but it would probably go up to a 4.0. My

Get the graders notes. Might have a clue to how much a "small" amount is. If removing the ct would damage the book too much, how about adding a tiny bit more ct to take it to 4.0. I see quite a few small color breaking creases that could be CTd. Hard to know what to do without knowing the amount of Am ct.

Dude, you need to have a pro look at that to see if the ct can be removed. Was it Pro or Am? If it's a "small ct" then you might only take a half grade hit. But the value would skyrocket if you got a Blue label.

I would never send a PGX book in without cracking it out of the slab and checking for missing coupons, hidden resto, etc... I do buy PGX from time to time (if it's a deal I can't refuse), but I cross my fingers every time I crack one. Every once in a while a coupon is missing or there's some other major flaw.
