Here is the 2nd issue of Star Spangled War Comics from 1952. #132 Raw. Low grade. I'll say 1.5. Cover is detached. CF is detached. Tiny slivers of tape on the inside cover where the staples were. $79 shipped GPA only shows 1 sale ever..... an 8.0 went for $1315 in 2007

Here are the 2 Smilin Jacks from Four Color Series 1 5 & 10 from 1939 & 1940 That's some pretty old Four Color My Dad's name is Jack and he told me when he was a little kid his folks would pick up Smilin Jack comics for him. He would have been 6 years old when these came out.

I was the underbidder on that one. That sticker on the front is awesome. I picked up 3 of the other Smilin Jacks (at great prices)

RobotMan, I ran into this ad in a PEP 28 comic I just bought. How many of these Shield G-Man Club pins do you have? Are there a lot of variations?

Just picked up these 3 Marvel Pre-Hero comics. They're in pretty nice shape.

Yeah, I thought it was a distributor spray too, but there's no color on top of the interior pages.

I think it'll really get dinged for the water damage. I'm going to say 2.5, however it's a really nice looking 2.5.

PGM TTA28, TTA31, & TOS28 I just got these 3 in and they were all surprisingly nice which is pretty rare for PH Marvels. Please let me know your opinions on them. I believe all three are fresh to the market and never been pressed. They all have amazing interiors (white pages?). 1st is TOS 28 Only major flaw is the tiny stain at the top of the back cover (that stain doesn't even go thru to the inside of the back cover) Next is TTA 31 This one had 3 extra staples added that I have removed. The staples were not neccessary. The spine is really nice, no splitting. Color and gloss is amazing on this one. Back cover has a hint of a stain at the top edge, a 3/8" tear at the top of back cover, and a foxing stain at the bottom edge of back cover. Last comic is TTA 28 Back cover has tanning at top & bottom, and a small chip out of the top of back cover

Those are some NICE looking comics. Dang I wish I had seen that auction.

How about a Netflix series of BPRD. There's SO many cool stories to be told and you can't do that in 1 movie. I'd like to see a series.

I went to a matinee today and absolutely loved the 1st 15 minutes of the movie. But dang it, I hate to say this but it started to lose it's grip on me as the movie went along. They went after too many little sub plots with relationships, and then it got a little too goofy. And dare I say, they may have jumped the shark with Pacman (although I have to admit I laughed right there). I really liked how they fleshed out Yondu. I want to see more Rooker. I think Gunn should have left his brother in the background, his rise in status seemed a little forced. I enjoyed it but....... mmmmmm..... I can only give it 6.5 out of 10. I like the Mary Poppins joke too
