  1. ADVENTURE COMICS #431 – #440, #461 – #464 (14 Total Comics) – $40 Pretty nice set of the Spectre’s first appearance, all in the F/VF to high VF range. Best one is 440 which is teetering on the VF/NM fence but I don’t think gets there, all these books have really nice color, gloss and feel. The 461 – 464 group are all in VG to low F condition for some early Power Girl and Death of Earth 2 Caped Crusader.
  2. BATMAN COPPER/MODERN SET (62 Total Comics) – $125 SOLD Titular characters run from the Copper Age & up, the majority of the group is in VF or better condition. These are the typical ‘bought to be read’ books but they’re not abused. I’ve given actual grades to the keys but the most of the rest fall into the aforementioned category. #400 is a good looking VF for a newsstand edition #608 looks great and I was surprised it was as high as it is considering the rest of the group #635 at first glance looks better than VF/NM but it has slight color rub around the staples which hurts it #700 Red Hood Variant has a few NCB stress lines on the spine
  3. BATMAN BRONZE AGE SET (26 Total Comics) – $100 All of the titular characters run I have from the Bronze Age starting with #240, majority in the 7 – 9 range with a couple outliers in both directions.
  4. This topic is very cathartic to me as I used to feel this way (still do, just not as strongly) and would often become so annoyed and self-righteous by the undeserved sense of entitlement exuded by such boardies and their posts. The irony of course being that if they behave this way in the selling forum, there is most likely very little they will "contribute" (at least as far as I was concerned) to other areas, so why worry about it and let them occupy headspace? It's just a little more drek and dribble you have to navigate through in the selling forums to find what you want, but ultimately if they stay confined to their barren sales threads with limited views, unreasonable expectations and no bites that is the best possible contribution they can make. People such as this will never have any realization of self-awareness or change their ways by following the good example of others, they will invariably justify their own sensibilities by concluding it is everyone else that is the problem and eventually move on (and if they don't, that is what the "ignore" feature is for ). Almost every year I find myself thinking, "The level of narcissism, oblivious selfishness & willful ignorance has exploded on the boards and is out of control!" . . . but it hasn't, and it's not. It may have gone up incrementally over the years but I'm sure it is very similar to the level it has been since I joined. Like with most things, what we really like and really don't like stands out to us the most and we'll perceive it as being disproportionately higher than the middle ground which is often the vast majority. As difficult as it is to do, I've found the more you are able to focus on the subjects and individuals that bring you positive fulfillment, you'll find more enjoyment and overall satisfaction with less frustration from the jackassery you're certain to run across from time to time.
  5. Sold, although I only have one of these sets. Unless you meant to post something else I'll assume this was a double post.
  6. Exceptional buyer, my only complaint is he hasn't bought anything else since enabling me to heap even more praise upon him. Credit to the Market Forum and community at large.
  7. Selling most of my collection by title so it's got all ages mixed in, check it out.

  12. POWER GIRL LOT (52 Total Comics) – $300 SOLD Complete 2009 run with Variants for #1 – 6 and other random Power Girl relevant books. #27 front cover looks great but tear on back cover keeps it in the low NM range instead of high NM range.
