  1. Yep, Gerry Conway/Al Milgrom. Only lasted five issues as this title was one of many cancelled during the "DC implosion".
  2. Hi Jason, welcome to the boards. Welcome back to the wonderful world of comics as well!
  3. Hi Bryan. You might want to put your new thread in the Journals section: CGC Journals
  4. The CCS website considers round or blunted corners to be a "bad" defect, not a defect that would benefit from pressing.
  5. Possibly a female version of yellowjacket too. Not sure if this movie is going to live up to the other MCU movies. Is that a Canadian price variant? This was the first issue(month) when the cover prices changed to $ .75 from .65.
  6. Which thread do you think gets more views: this one or the Secret Chatroom?
  7. Could he drink through his helmet? That's the part that makes no sense. Want to display your power, have everyone float around smashing into each other. Levitate the table. Picking up a cup of hot liquid you can't drink doesn't do it for me. I always assumed he sucked liquids (and solids, eww) through his mouthpiece area. I'd agree. He's still human so he'd be consuming water and a nutritionally infused liquid at points during the day. He can remove his helmet when in his chamber so possibly he eats solid foods then?
  8. I agree with that. How that book escaped cancellation astounds me. Amazingly bad. I would think the TV series Lynda Carter's cleavage greatly helped to sell the comic during the years it aired. Fixed (thumbs u

  10. How 'bout black olive & red onion then? Everything here has been as expected: noisy, dirty, crowded, and a bit on the warm side.
  11. The journals are ok, but if you want more folks to see the reviews maybe just do a thread "Jimmers reviews the BA" (or SA) or some such and post in the appropriate forum. I know you have eclectic tastes, so I'd think your takes on these books would be interesting.
  12. I don't recall if it was the movie or the book, but prior to his "strangling" that general/admiral character, he had the cup float to him as a demonstration of his powers.
  13. That's hilarious. Never heard of it before. It's on YouTube & from 1987. Watched a few minutes so far, it's got Bernie Kopell, Roxie Roker, and the guy who played the Governor on Benson. The kid goes "punk" after being spurned by a girl who was seen with a bad-boy rocker type and not getting attention from his over achieving family. It's a fun watch so far as it's so unintentionally silly. Sigue Sigue Sputnik has been mentioned.
  14. MT137 couldn't possibly still be considered BA, could it? March '82 cover date.
  15. The DK's yes. I'm not really up on the Misfits releases. Actually started listening to them quite late for some reason, and actually learned their songs through Plan 9, a Misfits tribute band.
