  1. I thought I hadn't bought one, apparently I had, I found it in a short box.
  2. You know, I've grown accustomed to reprints having different covers, I'm a little disappointed by these reprints.
  3. Well, if you haven't bought from Mark, you don't know what you've been missing. Consistency, consistency, consistency!!!! Consistency in grading, consistency in shipping, consistency in service. If you don't Mark, "you can suck it." (ala greggy)
  4. The art is awesome. /end. Waiting for the first trade, love reading story arcs in one shot.
  5. that's great news, now maybe I can find some revival sketch covers on the cheap, I'm so tired with all these tv rumor bs.
  6. I would imagine that the primary printing defect that keeps books from achieving mint and gem mint status are bindery tears. Most all of the moderns that i've pulled off the rack that would be 9.8 candidates have some kind of bindery defect. But I'm generally happy with 9.6's and 9.8's off the rack. Or what do you guys think are the primary defects that keep the majority of all books out of mint condition?
  7. When the end comes, I'll barter 1 pound of rice for the TMNT and 2 pounds of rice for the AF15. P.S. I have a lot of rice stored in my basement. There are other books that I'll barter for.
  8. I'm tired of these filler episodes with all this character development to get the viewer to feel an emotional attachment to the characters. I don't want to get attached to any characters. ALL I REALLY WANT IS FOR KIRKMAN TO KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL EVERYONE.
  9. I got the trade for the story, the art is driving me nuts, the story is good. I will not be picking up the floppies.
  10. It will be interesting to see the print run on the #4, although I don't know if dealers had time to adjust and up their orders. Issue 1 had a print run of 17371 with en eventual drop of 26.3% in orders to issue 2 which had a print run of 12801 and that dropped another 6% for issue 3 which had a print run of 12034. I still think issue 4 was on a downward trajectory and I think the print run will come below 11500, that's my guess.
  11. not a first print, but here is my mini run.
  12. reading the modern section is either going to turn me into a flipper or a hoarder. I just bought 4 copies of MD4 to add to my one. AAARRRGGG!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO ME!!!!
  13. The demand side of that equation would be even more one sided to AF 15. The supply side too. Things that are scarce or in short supply tend to be affected more by small changes in demand. A little demand could propel the TMNT a lot higher, while a little demand for the AF15 will hardly push prices higher in my opinion. This is the basic principle in price elasticity of demand. There are 2087 total AF15 in the census. 494 total for the TMNT.
  14. Are the trades popular, cause I had to settle for a number 2 2nd print and the the volume 3 was sold out at my LCS.
  15. 131 in the census for the AF15 in 4.0 and more than 400 more in better grade. Blues 26 in the census for the TMNT in 9.6 with 12 in higher grade. Blues
  16. I'm not a hoarder, and I'm a one copy per buyer. I have one copy, do you guys think I should maybe buy a second or third copy.
  17. A full week after release, they still had plenty mercenary sea on the racks, I'll be at midtown at 8am open for new releases tomorrow, I'll let you know if they have more.
  18. I just got the first 3 volumes of trades, now to read...
  19. I'll have to post my OO newsstand sometime, my first ASM book I ever purchases. I must have been 13 or so.
