  1. i don't care what anyone says, those mcfarlane inks are incredible, the amount of detail is astonishing. When other inkers were inking over his art, they where always butchering his fine lines and details on his original art. I'm not trying to take anything away from silvestre, but this piece is all mcfarlane.
  2. You've been girls in different houses haven't you, oh the joys of youth.
  3. Quick question and I need a quick answer, why does fangango show the run time for the 3D at 2 hours 15 minutes and the 2D at 2 hours and 8 minutes, are there added scenes, special previews? What's the deal?
  4. Someone mentioned that both carpets looked the same, now that I see the two shots together I can see what they meant. ...I've thought to myself, it wouldn't surprise me if Dan and the new buyer should be the same person. That's just ridiculous. There is a pattern on the first one. The 2nd one is just a white carpet that has been worn. I'm glad you barney fife's aren't handling my case. I passed judgement on you the second day I joined, never liked you.

  6. Bought some slabs off of rocky a few weeks ago. A devoutly principled man. Here, I left you feedback, now leave me some below... http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5458984#Post5458984
  7. What can you say about Point Five, one of my favorite boardies here, I've yet to be disappointed with a purchase from him.

Transactions with Ed are effortless and a pleasure. One of my favorite sellers on the board.
  9. More like spider-mouse with those big micky mouse ears, or peter the spider-frog with those big bug eyes.
  10. What does it matter what the submitter was thinking by resumitting. What matters is that it slipped through cgc's restoration detection. The question is how many thousands of these blue purples are circulating in the hands of unsuspecting collectors. I would like cgc to address that problem. How will cgc regain the confidence of collectors if you can't be sure what you're buying.
  11. Get this-one dude was convicted on a tiny, half pencil-eraser size piece from a dollar bill. He robbed, shot and killed his victim. One of the bullets went through victim's rt front pocket, and clipped off a tiny piece of the bill. A really good CSI tech (and no they do NOT interview suspects-they'd be fired for that!) picked the tiny piece of paper from the pocket, realizing its importance. When the suspect was apprehended, the bill was matched by stereomicroscope to the fragment.... I'm not smart enough to commit the perfect crime anyway, just fantasies really. A boy can dream, can't he!
  12. you have no idea how many times I've thought of committing the perfect crime to inherit the house already, these people just wont die. I need my inheritance now.
  13. I think you boast of claims that you know nothing about. With a degree in Biology and previous forensics experience I have a pretty good grasp of what is possible to accomplish with a stereomicroscope. Coloration and surface changes in pulp over time is something quantifiable. That's cool kav, I love CSI.
  14. I've enjoyed this thread immensely. No, please keep the theories coming, one of the 100 theories is bound to be correct.
  15. +1 Exactly what I was thinking. True, but the only ones making money off the gimmick will be those that can spot undetectable trimming. The rest will probably buy trimmed books that will always come back trimmed.
  16. Trimmed books always get a Purple label This is why we need the sarcasm emoticon. I guess I could have used the but I hate that one. I usually just make a comment at the bottom of my comment like this.... sarcasm
  17. whenever I think of some of the board members here I think of that clip in forest gump, where, well here is the clip, 'cause some of you guys must be millionaires and the rest of us don't know it.
  18. I just got some books from Paul747 All CGC, Thief of Thieves 1-3 in 9.8, walking dead 6/20/48 all in 9.6, the sixth gun 2 in 9.6 and 3 in 9.8 and without further adieu..... PETER PANZERFAUST #1 CGC 9.8
