  1. Of course you can post Nam! Nice book! The Thor 131 through 135 mini-run is one of my faves!
  2. Can someone else post a pedigree Thor from that range of the run?
  3. Sorry, Nammy, you must think I can pull these things out o' me arse! Here's the best I can do. Thor 130 Green River 9.2 via Red Hook, via Lord Rahl, via Phil Schlaefer of The Comic Collectors Shop, via Shin C. Kao, via Craig C. Beles, via William J. Stevens II. (phew!)
  4. No, but that really is the cover,......issue #1 of TTA I believe! Yeah, what a rip off!
  5. Steve, you're absolutely correct about the date stamps on the GRs. The owner of the store that stamped them, always seemed to pick the most obvious place, and terrible place, to stamp them. From his point of view I can see why, but it doesn't help the look when it's right in the middle of a face! I have more unslabbed DCs, that I will post over time.
  6. They really are Sweet DCs, and that's alot for this former MarvelHead to admit!
  7. These two just came back from Sarasota a couple of days ago.
  8. These are the two GR Green Rivers I bought from Greggy earlier this year. I was actually surprised that the 62 didn't grade higher. I have to call for the notes.
  9. Just wanted to let you guys know I listed the books below in the Marketplace. High Grade Charlton Horror, including four from the Boston Pedigree. Reasonably priced. Sorry for the interruption! Red
  10. I like the Patchwork Pedigree Run attempt. But for fun, let's disallow anyone from participating who has one of the top three registry sets for the book we choose. And I'd like us to consider the Burntboy/Sid's Luncheonette collection an unofficial pedigree for this project. Well, maybe Doug can start us off with Avengers #1.
  11. I think sckao owned the Green River 9.4 copy. Wouldn't it be nice to see a pedigree lineup of the same book? We'll have to do that sometime.
  12. Even Coletta's inks couldn't ruin that one! Could you imagine if Sinnott had inked the Kirby Thors? That would have been a major WOW!
  13. Need to rescan this later on red paper, but this'll have to do. And I took your advice about the colored paper DL! Green River Copy, Doom Patrol #99.
  14. Steve, that TTA 76 made my jaw drop! Awesome!
  15. Your wish is my command! It's not graded yet! But it's the Green River! There's a thumbnail of the book up on the Green River site...but I haven't gotten this up yet.
  16. I just realized I have a raw copy of a Northland book.....a Tales To Astonish #76. I purchased from Motor City at a Big Apple Con two years ago. Came with a certificate. It may officially be the first pedigree book I ever bought. Had no idea what it was, just that it looked reeeeally nice! Hey Steve, wanna' work on a Northland Pedigree Site? PS check out the marvel and dc CGC datalists that you can find on my GR site.....I've collected CGC data for over 100 graded Green Rivers, probably the biggest list for any one pedigree other than the Church collection.
  17. NIce ones Steve! Hmmm.....early high grade TTAs!
  18. I love this cover......that was one of the first issues I originally bought off the stands, in my earlier incarnation as Kid Charlemagne. Always loved the blue of the Stiltman's costume against the grey background, and the birdseye persepective. Interesting to note how many Daredevil covers of that era featured a grey background.
  19. Thanks Steve, and I'm sorry I can't help you out. This one's a keeper. Anyway, it's got one of those nasty-looking date stamps! Blecck!
  20. Arrived freshly-slabbed from Sarasota about 45 minutes ago. Thanks to Vincent at Metropolis for dead-on grading of the raw book. This is one book the vultures won't get their hands on to try pressing into a 9.8! I'll have two more later today, the GR Brave & Bold 61 & 62 via Greggy, also just slabbed.
