  1. FT submission received 5/6, so we're at the 20 business day mark. Verified, still.
  2. Quick payment. Smooth and easy transaction.
  3. Prepare to wait for Fast Tracks. C2E2 has created a bottle neck, so it looks like those TATs will be getting longer.
  4. IMO, there's a big problem from a customer service perspective if Fast Track submissions are now taking 20 days to turnaround, which seems the be the case. Setting aside the backlog of standard submissions, if people are paying extra for FT and getting their books in 20 business day, the advertised turnaround time for non-FT submissions, that doesn't seem right.
  5. Yeah, no chance that happens. My 3/28 submission hasn't shipped yet. It moved to scheduled for grading fairly quickly, but the hold up appears to be with encapsulation as it's been stuck in QC limbo for days.
  6. Yep, I saw that report on Bleeding Cool. It's a bit deceiving though. Image does a very slight overprint on their books. When there's a rush of reorders after the FOC, say when a bunch of speculators place preorders with the likes of Midtown, etc. after the FOC, then the book will be sold out at Diamond. I think this happens with most Image #1s and it's mostly due to speculators coming late to the party.
  7. Holy cow, is this for real? The only person who has said that is Mashed Potatoes. I'm not sure if anybody can back that up I listened to the same interview and Hickman definitely said the print run is 3x anything he's ever done with Image. Not a surprise given the cover of previews and those who are speculating heavily on the title.
  8. My thoughts exactly. I plan to put that money toward OA instead of the manufactured collectibles the publishers are producing.
  9. I think it's the RRP that's ruffling people's feathers. The FP variant is available to anyone who wants to preorder it, but the RRP won't be readily available to collectors. Also, the RRP does nothing to help the creators since it's a freebie from the retailer summit and has no impact on actual orders.
  10. So you're pretty much saying that no matter how great a story is (Nowhere Men) you'll stop reading if there are multiple covers? Read comics because you enjoy them. If you enjoy them, it shouldn't matter about covers and variants unless you're only in for flipping. I have to say, I agree with GodofThunder. I was going to add this series to my monthly pull list until the variants popped up. I've pretty much decided not to support monthly titles with variants. That's me voting with my wallet. I may check out the eventual TPB, but I won't be collecting the floppies.
  11. It would've been issue 900 in the old numbering. What is TEC? Detective Comics
  12. If anyone is asking if a comic could be the next Walking Dead weeks before the first issue hits, it definitely will not be. IF there is such a thing, it will be underhyped (under ordered) and take a while to hit that status That said, this looks like it will be a good read, so enjoy it for what it is.
  13. I'm pretty sure the original solicitation said full color.
  14. Why not call it like it is then? 8.5 to 9.6/9.8 is a fairly large gap, so the seller clearly isn't confident in his grading abilities. I think he undergrads to avoid an "item not as described" issue, but that's my If the grade is important to you, then I would wait for a nicer copy on eBay, or, better yet, get one here from someone who can pinpoint the grade for you,
  15. I think there's pretty much a zero chance DF fast tracks the Bedlam #1 submissions. Why would they do that and destroy their profit margin? That eBay seller is screwed once the inevitable case gets opened.
  16. Given the current CGC turnaround times, I don't think anyone is seeing their Bedlam 9.8s from Dynamic Forces until April. Could make presales tricky.
  17. Saw these listed in the solicitations on Bleeding Cool: BEDLAM #1 DETROIT FANFARE CVR (MR) $3.50 BEDLAM #1 FORBIDDEN PLANET CVR (MR) $3.50 BEDLAM #1 PHANTOM CVR (MR) $3.50 BEDLAM #1 THIRD EYE CVR (MR) $3.50 Counting the standard cover and the NYCC cover, that's 6 different covers already. Larry's cover may or may not be one of those listed above, and then there are the inevitable 2nd and 3rd print variants...
  18. I have to say, I was looking forward to this series, but the slew of variants is turning me off. I might skip the singles entirely and just wait for the trade.
  19. Didn't hurt Saga though. It all depends on how good the book is. If it's as good as Spencer claims it is, it'll likely be under ordered even if it sells 20K copies.
