This used to be my copy. He had a body part drawn on him...let's just say he was well hung. His word bubble told you to do something to his pen added body part. It was quite the conversation piece.

Seems like a regular price for the grade. Not top GPA (as this copy doesn't deserve it from the tanning, pq, presentation) and right in the middle of the 2016 prices. Don't see any drop off from pricing.

That auction happened this past weekend... What Ace Ventura fails to mention is the 25% BP attached to the bid... Making it $13,750 + whatever shipping they decide to charge as stated in their auction terms. But he'll continue to twist all the 'facts' to fit his model. I bid on every single high $ book in that auction of which all were voldy and everyone went for either at or above gpa... I was really hoping for the discount you talked about

Ironically just this year some people tried to steal the bank's ATM by hooking it up with chains to the back of a pickup truck...they didn't get very far but they attempted.

Nothing really to report right now. Police are still working away Insurance is a pain (for us here in the North), they don't have a company like Collect Insure etc. Cameras were used The valuable ones were hidden (locked in a cabinet), going forward nothing of significant value will be kept on premise. We want to thank everyone thus far, we've had members checking books when they come across them, we've had a ton of guys throw this information to their local guys. One positive is that the good apples are great.

Will be working on my stock tonight in between the kiddies coming for candy. Heck maybe I'll dig out a box and give out comics and eat the candy instead

Im not saying eBay is the best auction house, they all have advantages and disadvantages. If eBay didn't have decent results we wouldn't see big books auctioned off there... Sparkle city does very well running eBay auctions, or the asc8/ww1/sc1 a month ago, or the action 1. Heck I've seen a number of af15s set gpa highs on eBay. I've seen gpa lows as well, I've also seen gpa lows and highs in clink, cc, ha... There is no safe bet when running an auction... You can get 2 guys fighting and set a huge record or the second guy forgets and set a huge low.

Ebay only takes $250 + PP fees (if you have a store) or $750 + PP if you don't. Thus any item above $7500 you are paying less than 10%. An item of considerable worth call it $50,000 you would do much better on fees with eBay than Clink/CC.
