  2. And that was hashed out almost a week ago...boardies do it all the time. Some list it that its a "pre-sale" others don't
  3. Sales thread from now on must include: Where you bought the book How much you paid What line you used to get the book from the old lady How many times it was pressed how many times it was subbed to cgc Maybe "My Heritage" can create a tree of a comics travel. Cool, so your ok buying a book then finding out that it might not be delivered for two months. Gotcha! (thumbs u For the most part wouldn't care if it was a book I wanted to own. 5. Well, you could post it here, as there's a fair amount of traffic that checks this thread, or you could create your own thread in Comics General. That's where the most traffic is. 25 mins left
  6. R-rating please... Thats a joke right? What's your percieved punchline? So you really think Marvel would pump out an R rated Deadpool movie?
  7. Wonder if you knew their competitor didn't plan on so well and have TaTs that are worse than cgc Actually, this is not true. Si senior it is. Did you not get the email blast about their TaTs? PS where have you been? Haven't seen you arguing with anyone recently. My test submissions using their FT were definitely ahead of CGC since NYCC. Oh ya the FT is ahead. ST not so much...but seriously where have you been...been lonely without you

  12. No cause I don't have my 5 min update yet...
  13. That answers it. Of course. He wants to sell it so he can pay for it. Maybe I should put in an offer of 10K. That would help him out. Pick me!
  14. Exactly this. There is only 1 sale in all of 2014 (excluding his) for a book in similar grade...which is guess what the 3.5. He posted a link to it and said here is a similar book have at it. He didn't strong arm anyone to purchase the book at his price, nor did he "manipulate sales". This is no different than saying hey I saw a NM 98 cgc 9.8 sell for 1k the other day on ebay here is the link. Mine is only 950 shipped.
  15. Come on now, talk about the number of pre-sales, exclusives, "coming back" from cgc sales etc all of that falls under the same as this. Lets continue to find another thread which has much worse interest then putting a price for a scarce GA book that ppls want and has a verified sale in lower grade to justify his pricing. The difference is that with all of those books it is stated up front that they are not in hand. This is the difference! In all of those other sales, it's made clear by the seller that it's a pre-sale, "coming back" from CGC, etc. In this case, wouldn't you assume that he has the book in hand and ready to be shipped out based on his sales thread? So first it was "misquoting" GPA which he isn't, then it was "rubbing ppls nose in a book" which he can ask any price for a book. I know of several dealers who have won books on HA and listed it for 3x what they paid. To the book isn't in hand (which a number of other sellers do on a regular "flip" basis) just don't get caught. Maybe next we can find a spelling mistake in the listing.
