  1. Yea cool HTF book in high grade, I also have this raw one I guess ill send in as well. Other than upper left corner scratch its a great copy as well.
  2. I think someone posted one of these awhile back. Here is mine.
  3. So I just bought this comic (1946) because of one reason. Double Cover. the top cover is pretty rough but as you can see the underlying cover looks pretty good. I already one of this in VF+ or better, but couldn't pass this up for 45.00. Could always lose the front and back cover and have a pretty nice book, if I needed to I guess.
  4. I think I need to send mine in to be graded. Just starting to really send books in these days.
  5. Hey Comicdey, I got a couple of those two. Looks like we like the same stuff, .
  6. Sending this one in soon. FC#88 hopefully comes back highest graded.
  7. Well I decided to start sending in some books to CGC. I never really did before other than the Batman 3-D's I sent in. I am expecting 10 or so of these to of these to set a new standard and the others to be new the top of the census.. Here is a list of some of what I sent in. They should be back in a about two weeks. I'll scan them and post when they get here. X-mas Comics #4 (1949 None graded so far) Holiday Comics #1 (1942) Christmas Parade #1 (1949) Wish me luck crossing fingers on these after that another batch and so on.
  8. Well its still a pretty scarce book as these wont be seen for another 20 years+ unless someone buys them all as of right now I have no intention of separating them. I also have one more of each in high grade I didn't send in that I have had for a couple decades.
  9. Just got these two Famous Funnies from a guy who had inherited them and doesn't care for comics. I have been purchasing from him recently as he finds comics in random boxes. I never know what he is going to have like these, the Peanuts, etc..
  10. Ok I remember how to add photos. These next comics are recent comics I have acquired through various sellers and private owners. Some pretty amazing books like Peanuts #1, Amazing Adventures, Out of this World etc...
  11. So, who wants to see the Double Action Comics #1. Yes, it is an ashcan and yes I have seen it. There is only one copy around and I personally know the guy that owns it. Yes I have a picture of it, and of the #2 graded 9.0. I am almost relucant to post the pic as it seems almost a better left a myth or legend. Quick story. The guy that owns it was a distributor in the 70's and came across the ashcan and the 5 #2's in a filing cabinet in a DC office. He was allowed to aquire the ashcan and he picked the best of the 5 copies of the #2. I won't say his name or where it is located other than it is in a safety deposit box, as one day I hope to buy it from the owner. I can confirm he did meet with Bob Overstreet and he did see it. Very few have laid eyes on it besides Bob, the owner and myself. I will get the pic uploaded to my computer son and post it. This is no fake and you will see in the pic they are both completely real.
  12. Picked up these highest graded just a couple nights ago.
