  1. Ok, I'm going to try to keep this thread going. It's getting lonely here, but hey, Gil Kane only drew about 8 zillion covers. I figure there's plenty of time before the thread goes on life support.
  2. The COTL #14 CGC 9.6 went for a little over $500. And there are 4 9.6s in the census. I put in what I considered a very healthy bid. It turned out to be anemic. I did get a tough Twin Cities Cap (#121) for a reasonable price in the same auction. It's interesting that the picture frame books are realizing stronger prices in comparison. Or at least it seems that way to me.
  3. Did this issue prove hard to find in nice shape? or is it just me? That is a really sharp looking 9.4, or is you scanner enhancing it? I just started trying to finish the run recently, so I don't know if this issue is hard to find or not. I had about 5 or 6 raw issues from the run, but I this book was already slabbed when I bought it. I couldn't resist the cover. I don't think the scanner is enhancing it, but the book has some little spine nicks which aren't so easy to see in the scan.
  4. Plenty. But I usually don't slab them. And I definitely wouldn't post them on the boards!
  5. For any Spider-Man books, Kane/Romita. But on other stuff, both Janson and Tom Palmer did some great inking work over Kane's pencils. When Frank Giacoia inked Kane later, the results weren't as good, unfortunately.
  6. Giant Size Spider-Man #2 is Kane pencils with Romita inks, at least according to the Grand Comics Database. Spidey's and Chang-Chi's fingers are a dead giveaway for me. link Here's the MTU #5 for you:
  7. Thanks for playing too, Batmiesta. I was hoping you'd post your Mighty Marvel Western #44, and a #43 if you have one too.
