  1. I'm thinking Western Gunfighters something-or-other. If I was a bettin' man I'd say they were from the same book, But what do I know... The art is from two separate books and two different titles.
  2. Nice work, Greg. These might be too easy but if we're talking Picture Frames, we need some Gil Kane fingers and noses. These are from two different books:
  3. Good stuff, MC. Trivia question: With one exception, every Picture Frame Marvel uses a solid color for the picture frame. What is the one book that uses a mottled or speckled frame?
  4. Wow, wow, and wow. You've been holding back. Are you going to create a registry set? You've got killer PFs and it would be great to see them all in one place.
  5. Wasn't me with the 9.8s. They are killer books but those are some shocking prices. The 9.8 Conan #14 for $2111 was another eye opening hammer price. I did get the 9.6 Conan #13 but struck out on the the 9.8 Hero For Hire #4. Neither of which went for huge prices. I wish I would have dug a little deeper for the Hero for Hire.
  6. MC, where have you been? This thread has been getting lonely without you posting stuff. The RK #106 was an auction win. But both the Marvel Super-Heroes #32 and RK #100 were recent raw purchases. It gives me hope there are more needles to be found in the picture frame haystacks.
  7. It doesn't have the same deep colors as the #42, but I'm still happy with it.
  8. This is one of my favorite books in my whole collection. I bought it 1993 or 1994 at my LCS (Roger's Comics, now The Time Machine). I've always wondered what these Silver Age books looked like when they hit the spinner racks all those years ago. When I saw this book, I finally had a good idea.
  9. Distributor overspray. Oddly, the paint is a pretty good match for the color of the cover.
  10. Fantastic seller. Bought a book Friday night. It arrived Monday afternoon. A perfect, easy transaction (Conan #12). Thanks, Michael!
  11. It took me awhile to realize you guys were talking about the certification numbers. Yeah, really beautiful colors on those 10288 books. Great stuff.
  12. Thanks. It's weird with #12. There are now more 9.6s in the census than 9.4s (7 to 6). But a 9.6 copy has been a very elusive book for me.
  13. Or someone should start a thread about them. I was talking about a photo reference webpage that had all the books in order according to title and release date... That would be pretty cool. Go for it. GCD has scans of all the books but it would be great if they were better quality. And more easily accessible.
