  1. Any book that instantly yields 25+ copies for sale in a CGC 9.8 on eBay should not only NOT be considered uncommon but be considered plentiful.
  2. I have yet to enter the "used mens socks" market. However, after seeing completed listings, maybe instead of throwing them out I should throw them up on eBay. They would definitely be easy to ship in basic envelopes so cost would be low. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=used+mens+socks&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1
  3. You saw the screen caps that I have posted. I wish I could make stuff like that up.
  4. I don't think they like to get too ahead of themslves because then change of plans can be perceived as weakness in the brand. Remember when they announced Inhumans as a feature film? I wonder what the plan would have been had that happened...
  5. Sorry and condolences for the loss of your friend.
  6. I shook my head tonight btw and a part of me died. Went to eat in the city and had to take a subway. There was a guy singing this song... and I overhear a passerby comment that “this guy is trying to sing Kanye and don’t even know the words.” The guy with no music history didn’t realize that the guy was singing a Ray Charles classic, “I’ve got a woman” which is what “Golddigger” the song he though my was being sung was based on. I threw up a little in my mouth. No excuse not to know some Ray Charles.
  7. I’ll post a Marshall Tucker Band song just for you. Btw side note... Zac Brown Band might be one of the best touring bands today.
  8. I have somewhat of a conscience. i don’t have a care in the world for people asking for discounts based on whether or not they are home bound, don’t have a lot of money, a veteran or cop or fireman... i HATE that line... “What’s the best you can do for a wounded vet still paying medical bills.” my response is now, “to block you and do my part to make sure you focus your finances on your medical bills and not comic books.”
  9. You are going to really flip when you realize it’s something I offered here on the boards for less... people suggested offering things on the boards first... I said that even with eBay fees I get more there.
  10. The other guy is offering free shipping and has 7000+ feedback compared to my around 3000. there are multiple people priced less than I am.
  11. Okay... here is a reported sale... i just sold a LEGO Star Wars set loose and complete for $140 + shipping the same set boxed is on eBay for ... let’s just say the same price or slightly cheaper... I set prices and things sell... they stay at that price until they do so.
  12. The untrue part I was talking about was everyone wishes the previous generation...
  13. That’s untrue especially when we are talking about racism. I still see disturbing attitudes shared across multiple generations.
  14. You have to be exact.... and it cannot even be partially correct. So for example suppose I am looking for a user by the name of Old_Time_Comics. If I write Old Time Comics, it does not turn anything up. That underscore must be present. For that alone it is problematic. But again, I was looking up something regarding the Spider-man Homecoming / Civil War deal from a few years ago and the boards kept error coding on me. I think sometimes it is still easier to search in google by using "cgccomics" "boards" and then what you are looking for. So eventually I did this... I typed "cgccomics" boards spider-man civil war movie Google brings me to page 74 in the thread but the second I wanted to go to page 1 I got the following... and let's keep in mind I just did this again for the purpose of this response... what a mess.
  15. Nah... I just ask him to explain his comments. He won't. Someone else called him a racist and I continue to ask him to explain himself. He is ignoring me now after I mentioned that I am very glad that people like him and his mindset are eventually dying. I don't want to be kicked out of the group. Over here I have no problem publicly wishing them death on Christmas.
  16. I thought so. I have to go back to facebook now and make fun of someone for making racist innuendo.
  17. I agree that the current rate of material is doable... I am talking about with the addition of all of the Disney Series...
  18. I had to do some research on the boards to find something. It took well over an hourrrrrrrr. So infuriating. On top of that the older the information or thread the more of a chance of the board crashing.
  19. By the way the funny thing about that sale is that because I sold it as a set it would never hit GPA. Even if it did who is to say how the sale is balanced between the two... Was the green cover worth $600? Was the black cover worth $400 ?
  20. Ok... just wanted to see if I was too far off with that thought.
  21. I looked at them and said... why do I really care about this? I put them up at an insane price and they sat there for over a year and a half and I refused to budge. Eventually they sold. Okay... More Golden Age for me.
  22. Ok @Bosco685 I am with you on the whole... Superhero Fatigue is not a thing going by the numbers... However I am worried about something else... and that is overextension. Do you know what the best thing is about Runaways and Cloak and Dagger is? I have never seen a single episode and I do not need to. I do not know anything about them. I do not need to. They might be the best things on television. I don't know because I don't need to see it to know what is going on in the Marvel Universe. My fear, and there is some substantiation here, is that the Marvel Universe becomes TOO self referencing and TOO reliant on connectivity. In order to know what was going on over the past 10 years with Marvel Studios, you kind of needed to follow everything along if you wanted the whole picture for the tentpole events like Avengers 1, 3, and 4. As we got closer to A4 this became even more obvious. The substantiation for this lies on Marvel crossovers. For too many years you needed to know what was going on company wide in order to read some of those giant events. They learned the hard way to tweak the storyline so not every single event required the readers to devote the time and energy into reading all of the books across the event. My worry here is that there is too much and that may drive viewers away if Marvel becomes too self referencing. I don't want to find out that while sitting in Avengers 5 that I have no idea what is going on because I did not make the time for one D+ show that I should have watched. I think if they overextend and self reference a bit too much that is what will drive people away and not because of too much product. People don't want to feel as if the experience is a chore. The beauty of three movies a year was that it was something to look forward to. Personally speaking, if I feel as if I HAVE to watch 3 movies + 3 TV shows a year just to keep up... then I am going to feel as if it is becoming work. I have enough of that. Thoughts? I readily admit I could be wrong about this.
