Every few weeks I head over to my LCS a couple of towns away and buy one title and its annuals. I buy Amazing Spider-man mostly at this point to continue the run. I don't care about variants unless they are crazy unique. I just want each issue of Amazing Spider-man and the annual. So... in order to maintain my collection without having to adopt a new LCS (there are no others in my area I care to travel to) what are my options via mail order? Is it best to wait a year and then buy all of the back issues at once? Are their companies that offer a hold process until your order fills up like BigBadToyStore does with their pile of loot? I just collect ONE book and I wanna maintain it. So... suggestions? One - Let's go U2 version and a cover by Johnny Cash

I've gotta be honest... MyComicShop continues to impress. Seriously. My LCS is closing it's doors this December / January unbeknownst to the customers. I am seeking a new avenue to purchase my one modern comic book a month and MCS might be the store for me. Hm... I should start a thread asking for advice on this matter.

I think the first reprint of AF15 is in Marvel Tales Volume 2 Issue 1. However it only reprints the Spider-man story and not the other backups featured in Amazing Fantasy. I do not think that AF15 is reprinted again until Marvel Tales Volume 2 Issue 137.

That still isn't it. - I don't have best offers on the few books they sell... so I just ignore the messages asking me to consider a lower price. When the books sell and if they sell then they sell.

No, that's more common than people think. It's not even if people have two eBay accounts. I actually kind of have two accounts. I have made mention of it before that I run a separate account for a relative.

No really... because I don't think I would have added him from the Grim thing because I don't recall ever seeing Grim posting something about that in the probation threads. I usually add eBay names based on their stellar performances in comics general. Therefore ____ must have done something annoying to me or a close friend of mine.

I remember the older days of the boards when people would ask for directions and the usual responses would be... 1 - Step one - you cut a hole in a box.

Around fifteen years ago a Senator (some gameboy game?) from me and had them shipped to his office. I have the paperwork for it someplace since I believe he sent a check or a money order so I saved the envelope.

Reminds me of one of the first times I ever took the train / subway to Yankee Stadium. This is back in the 90's. I accidentally got on the wrong train and got off the train on the opposite side of the Bronx. This is WELL before there were cell phones let alone GPS on a phone. I said to myself, it can't be that bad, I will walk across the Bronx. Whoa, was I wrong... except for this one little area where there was no graffiti, there were actual lawns, and there was an old man wearing a member's only type jacket sitting in a vinyl strapped lawn chair with a hat and a cane next to him on the corner of that block. He called out and asked me where I was going. When I told him, he looked me up and down and told me to go down his block and around and never to head in the direction I was going ever again. I made it to Yankee Stadium that day and never forgot that man. Moral of the story? Always appreciate the neighborhood watch. They keep the lawns green where they otherwise wouldn't be.

On one hand you have @1p36DSA who didn't get his last issue of Walking Dead On the other hand @Phil Boyle represents the comic store in this case but it is up in Canada. When are you ever buying books from stores in Canada? I was away for a good portion of the day and just got home I need to pick up a package at a relative's house as well as dinner.

Been slow since May... Either people are behaving better or the boards are becoming lax...
