  1. First thing, the rules... No probies, no HOS, no drama llamas. Settle your drama before I even consider your money to be green. I ship worldwide. US Shipping goes out via Priority. Worldwide - check before you commit. Payment Options: PayPal or Cash if we are meeting up on Long Island. Returns accepted at buyer's expense. You must notify me within three days of receipt. I go by timestamp. I receive notifications in this thread and whenever I get a PM. Taking in the thread gets it but if you MUST make me an offer I reserve the right to take 48hrs to consider it. In that time someone can come and grab it. I hate negotiations. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Threadcrapping allowed and encouraged. It amuses me. Thread closes two days after the last item I post. A little advance warning... there will be a lot of stuff... However, I am going to be honest... this is NOT a firesale especially on Lego. I am offering things at a discount to what I believe that I can get for them on eBay to save both of us on fees. For example. I posted a Lego Hogwarts Castle a couple of weeks ago for $150. A few people were interested but not at that price. I posted it on eBay and it sold for $165 + Shipping. I am open to offers but they have to be interesting. It's not a Buzzetta thread unless I throw in some music... which I will do sporadically throughout as featured in Endgame... One of the thing I love about the last few Marvel movies since Guardians is that they are now relying on previously published music. The Kinks - Supersonic Rocket Ship
  2. When your friend asks what you are up to and you take a pic of a comic that you forgot you owned and he sees everything in the background and says, "What con are you at?" Then you reply, "I'm in my basement." You realize that you need to do an instant 'weeding'
  3. Was wondering when you would notice... Grumble... let's just say like any good band... I take requests... Not the same as the 'mugshot' but... Sinatra...
  4. I know... if they reply "thank you" after you answer them, eBay counts it as an unanswered question. I just shrug at that point. That is on eBay, not me.
  5. All I need to know about all three is that I don't ever want to stick my hand in their faces or be stuck in an elevator with them.
  6. When it comes to a personal collection, I think the rule of thumb is (at least for me) is to buy what I want and not to buy something because I already have everything else I want.
  7. I don't have a giant collection. I have about 300 slabs and about 1500-1700 raw books... I am more concerned about the legos and plastic crack when I get much older and can no longer walk up stairs.
  8. I will be dead. I will either have more important problems to face or none at all.
  9. Yet, sales are up and I experience fewer issues and problems since I let eBay handle it. So... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, it's cheaper on my end. eBay charges 10% of the hammer price AND the cost of shipping. If all I have to do is ship it to Kentucky, I am only charged 10% off that and NOT the $30 extra to ship out of state. Is $3 going to make or break. Nah... but it adds up and is unnecessary to deal with. So let's say you don't buy from me. Okay... Other people are. More people are to the point that it justifies the decision. AND like I said, GSP had my back on that piece of jewelry the other day.
  10. I don’t think you ever will. At that size you have to decide what is worth having... Would you rather have thin claws that may bend but will not easily break or claws that will not bend but can break easily? i don’t think there is any other viable option that can be produced at a amazon/Walmart/target price point.
  11. Unless your LCS has an account with Hasbro, they would most likely be ordering it through Diamond. He would have to call them. In my prior experience, no LCS in the world has been able to beat the Walmart, Amazon, or Target price as they do not order the sheer volume to afford or accommodate a decent discount. To be honest though, I think you are better off ordering it through Hasbro Pulse in this case as soon as the preorder becomes available especially with the delays and allocations that LCS's face. The Marvel 80th Anniversary Wolverine in Cowboy Hat is already up for Preorder so these may follow suit in the next week or month or two. https://hasbropulse.com/collections/preorders
  12. I have a repeat buyer in Canada and Hong Kong that keep using it to buy from me. Again though, keep in mind that my page has a lot of jewelry on it so I also feel much safer using GSP as an additional layer of protection. When eBay recently settled a claim for me, as mentioned above, it was with a piece of jewelry.
  13. I think I want something... If anyone has a decent lead on this let me know... I am looking for what everyone else is... best looking sample, must be complete, and at the cheapest price. Box is unwanted if not unnecessary but I 'might' be interested in the instructions... Transformers: Micromaster Base: Countdown It was one of the last Transformers I ever bought as a kid. Saved up a bunch of money for it and I definitely regret selling it... Went toward college education but still...
  14. Backpack with a hard folder on the inside to protect raws or a few toploaders. At this point I don't buy many books anymore at cons... maybe I buy one or two GA. If I buy a page of art it's usually the last thing I buy at the show before I leave and I go to Hotflips to get a toploader to bring it home... or a certain boardie is generous beyond belief and he throws it in his artist portfolio that he carries around until it's time for me to depart.
  15. Buyer from Canada recently claimed that there was a problem with a $175 item. eBay Global Shipping Program settled it in my favor and made sure I kept my money at no cost to myself. They said, they would then deal with the buyer. Claim closed for me. I really do not care anymore what the consensus is of these boards when it comes to international sales and eBay's GSP. I will not ship anything international anymore using eBay without using the GSP. If you want something that badly over eBay and I am selling it, you can agree by the terms of GSP or shop with someone else. I have to do what is best for me in these matters. For me, it has increased my sales and also expands my reach because I am comfortable using the GSP to ship anywhere that the GSP will ship to.
  16. I want to point out that this is what this thread reads as when you are logging on to the boards... that is all.
  17. I monitor incoming packages to make sure nothing is stolen off my doorstep. (Ring Doorbell is an eye opener as the community reports what Nassau County PD try not to admit to.) I also monitor outgoing packages to make sure nothing is stuck in transit after a week that they have been sent out.
  18. The movie industry is behind the times though like the music industry was years ago. If they don't find ways to put butts in seats then their movies will suffer. I watched the ASM 1 and ASM 2 but didn't see the point going to the theater to see it since it was not tied into the Marvel Universe. There was no point. I am not going to spend my money on everything out there. I weigh my options as there seem to be so many of them these days. If Sony doesn't realize that something like their relationship to Disney is in their best interest then I can fondly remember the Holland Spider-man movies as part of the MCU and move forward with other characters. Disney already proved that Sony needs Disney more than Disney needs Sony. AND... at the rate that movies appear on streaming services? I can wait months to watch a lot of these films and that is also months after the merchandising.
  19. Now, I cannot help but wonder if Holland is talking about one more Sony movie because he, himself, does not seem to be able to avoid saying things he is not supposed to. The irony of him introducing the latest trailer and telling fans to stop watching in order to avoid spoilers was not lost. The only thing better would have been to have Ruffalo introduce the Spider-man trailer. I would think though that Marvel has to approve any movie that Holland appears in as Spider-man since they cast the character. I am sure someone much smarter than any of us made sure to stick that into the arrangement of the studios. The last thing that Disney wants is for Sony to make a standalone Spider-man movie with Holland independent of any Disney owned properties. Because, if they did, then audiences would naturally assume that all spinoffs and tie in movies are related to the Disney movies which does not benefit Disney in any way. This is why I could see them expand the deal. Sony needs to ride the gravy train of a Tom Holland Spider-man movie because then all of the spinoffs are relevant to the main cash cow which is Disney. BTW - I think that the only recent non-Disney movie that did it best by the Disney movies was Deadpool. Making the final scene near a crashed "Not the SHIELD Helicarrier" was brilliant. No wonder Iger said, "We plan to keep Ryan Reynolds around as Deadpool."
