I haven't received an email yet. But I don't sell on ebay anymore anyway. I recommend everyone I can not to sell there unless you want to take the risk of having someone steal from you or do a switch item scam.

Yeah, I tried to convey this a number of years ago and the lynch mob came out to tar and feather me for making stuff up, when I tried to put our a warning of it.  It's interesting how that after that that more people came forward claiming the same thing happen to them.  Even on FB comic groups people are claiming the same thing, where you can send a book out and the buyer claim that the book was damaged, they ask for a full refund or a partial refund.  If you choose for the full refund what they send back to you is their under copy that is in a lower grade, so they upgraded their book(s) for free, or if you choose the partial refund, they get your book for a lower cost.  This HAS happened plenty of times to people.

I really enjoy the "This Week In Your Plastic Crack, Action Figures and Toy Collection" thread, but I don't know if board games and other games really fit there. Let's see if this thread takes off.

I find myself trying to re-purchase games I had as a kid, hoping to get my wife and kids interested in them. Maybe some new games speak to you. Could be comic related, sci-fi, fantasy, or just cool.

Purchased this week - HeroQuest from 1990. 100% complete. Some photos below showing most of the pieces (not actual game play). I love the detail of the pieces. You play together against the dungeon master-like player, who reveals new rooms as you enter them, so the board starts mostly empty, then fills out as you go. You complete a series of quests that come with the game. Lots of fun.

Next up, finding all the expansion sets.

Would love to have this game.

  3. Just be careful of switching of comics.  Where they claim that your book is not in the condition you said and they will either ask for a partial payment or a full payment and send back to you their under copy while keeping your copy. It happens.
