  1. What helped me jump in our mtg inventory is by putting an ad on Craigslist that I buy monster boxes for $30 and pay 10 cents each for bulk rares. These are rares that only have a 50 cent, or more, value, but people will still buy them. With there being so many formats in Magic people who normally play one format will usually sell the cards they have of the other formats that they are not using. I bought a lot of cards off of some standard players who tried to get into Legacy, but didn't like is and they saw my ad for buying monster boxes and sold them to me. Got some pretty good cards. I have had gaming store selling me bulk rares and bulk cards. We have compiled so many cards over the past year that my son is till going through them and we have a box that hold around 3,000 cards for 50 cents a card, that we have at sales, and do very well with it. Remember, there are rare and valuable cards and there are support cards. A lot of money can be made selling the support cards. With all of the extra cards I make starter decks that are a lot better than the ones that Wizards sells and have sold quite a few of them at $5 each. They mostly contain commons and uncommons. I'm a good deck builder.
  2. havent' listed the address yet and probably wont facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/atlantacomicsandgames/ That's okay. I found the address.
  3. Has there been an address listed for your store yet?
  4. If you let it, M:tG will consume your life (and wallet). Glad the store is working out and it's bringing in the collections just like you wanted. Doing WW Chicago this year? Yeah. Mtg is fun. Ive had people drop off mtg collections. Not buying them, they just drop them off. Have like 10,000 mtg cards. Not doing any shows this year i dont think. Wanted to go to baltimore for retailer summit but probably not. Keep an eye on the Magic Cards as prices fluctuate like mad. I am still buying and selling them as there is good money in it, but always have to see how much things are going for that day. One time had a card jump from 50 cents to $35 over night.
  5. Looks like you picked up a lot of nice books Thanks, it was fun! Here's the Craigslist pic that made me want to drive 2 hours for them: Would love to have the Charltons.
  6. Today's slim pickings. (All four MOS and Superman 75 are 2nd prints.)
  7. Ones that have 25 books with newsprint pages is good and 30 with the new paper is good. That makes book around 2" thick. This one was an experiment to make as pseudo omnibus. This volume is 2.75" thick and is the first 41 issues with annuals. The second will be the rest with the Marvel Two-in-One #99 issue.
  8. Here's one of my latest books I had done. This is half the series. I still have to send down the second half.
  9. Even more. The Bizarre Adventures is the only place where Jean's origin is told. When they told the X-Men's origins they did not include hers.
  10. I lost all of the pictures from my other Photobucket that I had posted here, so here they are again. Some are new ones that I have gotten over the past months.
  11. I obviously need to start checking the local Craigslist more often. One does not simply check Craigslist. You have to be obsessed with checking, checking every hour to be the first to reply and be able to drop what you're doing, driving an hour to look at mostly garbage. Hoping for the diamond in the rough. Knowing there are 100 other guys doing the same thing. In my area, the same two stores spam the death out of Craigslist. They take up around 80% of the ad space. Even though some of the pictures are different, they are the same buyers.
  12. Micronauts Is the figure from the Metal Man series? Metal Man figures are so great. Super heavy/stout. Patrick Yes, it is.
  13. There is one seller, on eBay, who has "make offer" on all their listings of Magic Cards and refuses almost all offers, even 10 cents lower than asking price. After making a few offers were declined, I offered 1 cent off and they accepted it. When I inquired why this is so, they said that they only accept offers for their higher priced items and that they have all of their auctions set up this way because it is easier for them. What a pain and have never bought from them again. I agree that it was to low. I wouldn't have accepted it either.
