  1. This statement don't work, as it takes two buttons pushed to buy something.
  2. Awe man, I am drooling over those Patsy Walkers. Great find.
  3. Thank you and no, they just try to make me as comfortable as possible.
  4. The years of heavy work took a toll on my spine. Almost the lower half of the spine discs are dying. It has created all kinds of problems from my hips down where I lose circulation and I live in chronic pain daily and even affects my ability to walk and sleep. I could no longer work and am now on disability.
  5. I also hear that you, er... one can also make money selling comicbooks too. I'm doing that as well and currently working on digging myself out of the hole I'm in. TRY THIS (or any other restaurant or retailer or anything, really) When I got out of High School I walked right over to the Sizzler restaurant and got a job as a busboy/dishwasher. Not glamorous, but I worked from there up to line cook, learning prep, eventually becoming meat cutter, and wound up as a Designated Trainer as I could train most of the positions in the place and even train supervisors. I was eventually getting trained to be a manager. I, even, got taken to other Sizzlers to help them get ready for inspections. I worked for Safeway starting as a bagger and was promoted twice within the first three months I was there. I walked into Serta manufacturing warehouse as low man making min. wage and was quickly promoted to making box spring coils, to making box spring wood frames, to making mattresses, and each one was a higher paying job. They were about to make me a floating jr supervisor because I could do so many functions there and even repair damaged units. Then I got really injured and couldn't work like that anymore. I said that as even if you have to start at the bottom you can always get promoted to higher paying positions. Don't sell yourself short and be of the mind to the job you are being paid for.
  6. I know it's not the original, but I had to have this and it is in great shape. Glad to add it to my collection.
  7. This is an old aged argument that Ebay had to put a halt to on their forums. Ebay "policy" conditioned buyers to act like getting feedback "immediately" after pushing the pay button warranted POS feedback and to many buyers were treating this feedback as part of their purchase. They would NOT accept the notion that the whole transaction wasn't finished until the item was in the buyers hand. Many times it was pointed out that a lot of buyers, after getting their free POS feedback, would turn out to be complete headaches to the seller about their purchase. A lot of people concluded that this conditioning caused a lot of buyers to regard getting feedback first to more important than getting what they bought. Thanks Ebay.
  8. robherman Well, this one is up to you to block or not. I bought some non-sports card sets from them and they shipped them Media Mail, possibly to save themselves some money on shipping costs.
  9. I've been very fortunate. I got most of these from a couple of the boardies.
  10. bobbiee121 This guy is a headache. Didn't purchase tracking and said that if they don't show up he'll just send more. That's not the point and is a waist of time. The packaging, of the two books, were in non taped bags, just one smaller size piece of cardboard, shipped in a manila envelope. Of all the correspondence they just kept justifying why they did it the way they did. Just a heads up to avoid this seller.
  11. Office Max is going out of business and is selling their racks and shelves. I picked this one up for $10. (Books added for display)
  12. It depends but yes in most cases I do both so I have a better chance of getting a interview What I would do is hand my application to the manger personally and try to get an interview right there by starting to tell him why I am qualified. If he took the bait I got an interview right then. This helps to set yourself up above the rest of the pile. If you just hand your application to the manager, or employee. it could just get lost in the stack.
  13. Using Masterworks, trades, reprints, and original books I have the entire 544 book run.
  14. This is what I did. I have Masterworks that reprint all the way to #120. If you find the soft covers it will save some money.
  15. Had a good day yesterday. The X-Men 120 I got in the mail. The graded books (Cyber Force #1 vol 2) I got for $10 each. most of the comics I got for $1 each. $5 each on the trades. Paid $3 each for everything but the trades. $5 each on therm. This bag looks fun. I couldn't pass up.
  16. The Ground Hog did it, in the Library with the lead pipe. Oakman says it was Colonial Mustard in the library WITH THE CANDLESTICK! Now I don't know which to believe. I always hated clue That's probably because you've never had one. I set myself up for that one.
  17. sucel Asked for cancellation right after purchase.

  19. Outside of the Galactic Storm battle I really liked this two part Spider-man.
