  1. I wish this great thread could be renamed "Whip out you Ducks!" I'm just twisted that way I guess.
  2. If there is a diety, I hope he has richly rewarded Carl Barks. No comic creator has given me as much pleasure and joy
  3. cooler than any one of the 12 pressing threads in general? Shhhh......not here.....bad luck.
  4. Have I mentioned lately that this is the coolest thread going?
  5. Oh man....is this what makes GA so great? Or is this what makes GA so great?
  6. I was feeling this way earlier today...I had a stubborn gas bubble...whew ! It was stubborn.
  7. I love pulp magazine covers about as much as I love comic book covers......and that's a lot!
  8. OK Tec27kid.......try this one! Both sold for $54,000 last year --- choose! All Star #1 or Superman #2, ...I'll take both! you can't play this way.....you must choose! :makepoint: :makepoint:...and it's not silly! :makepoint: :makepoint:...this is one of the most popular threads in the GA section for almost 1 full year :makepoint: Steve I choose both YOU RICHARD EVANS ---MUST CHOOSE!
  9. I'd take both Church copies, but if the Tec 1 didn't have extensive resto but slight, I would have taken that over the TN9 and I'm a Top Notch collector. All things being equal, the TN9 is not that big of a book without the Pedigree factor, although the naked women floating in the fire is pretty cool and the stories are great.
  10. I think since you are asking this in the GA forum this one is a no brainer. The guy in the cape. Ze- But the AF#15 @ 9.6 (the only one) is worth close to $500K? Who paid that much?
  11. Great stuff! As for Airboy, that's some of my favorite reading.
  12. I always liked that one. So when you tire of it, I would be happy to take it off your hands. BTW I saw some interior work by that cover artist in a Startling Comics I was reading last night. I think it's Al Camy who did most of those covers. Great artist.
  13. Of issue 1-27, 13 was the toughest one for me to find. It was the last one I needed, before that was 26. 12 might actually be tougher, but I found that early in nice grade in a bulk buy from a collection. I should have stopped after completing that part of the run, but I had to go on to collect Top Notch Laugh 28-45 and that where all the fun went away....trying to finsh that part of the run took forever and was agonizing. BH, in addition to Top-Notch, what titles do you collect? All the MLJ's. Blue Ribbon was another of my favorites as well as Jackpot and Pep, shield Wizard and Hangman.
