  1. Do we have holiday snaps that prove this ? With my missus around, it was bad enough pretending not to stare at all the talent. Seriously, those Argentinian blokes don't know they're born. They are all hands. You speak from experience? I'm starting to worry about you. I can't live in the past forever.

  6. B.A. is a beautiful city that has only in recent years been discovered by tourists...it's a European city that was modelled originally on New York. And a very high percentage of the women there are hotties.
  7. Where have you been? Been in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the last three weeks. My mum's from there and I went there with my missus and kids to see the relatives and enjoy Xmas in sunnier climes. Not something I do that often, but it was worth the 13 hour flight.
  8. Not to mention a high grade Timely key that is the envy of all the geeks here.
  9. Nice to be back in drab, grey, miserable good old Blighty.
  10. May soon return to the same time zone Shame about the move but it will be good to have you back in Blighty. (thumbs u Those hot sunny sub-tropical vistas ain't all they're cracked up to be. Welcome back to Blighty!
  11. Great stories Michael, not to mention all the art, most of which I wasn't familiar with. So much still to see....
  12. I may have had that record at one point back when I was a kid....along with the Chipmunks sing the Beatles Hits. Happy days....
  13. I will still be sat here, no plans whatsoever, other than getting drunk, but thats normal anyway. You need to get down to the Smoke for a knees-up. First pint's on me.
  14. Not quite Crimbo yet, but I suspect a tailing off of postings as the drinking and overeating season gets underway. Don't fall asleep whilst saying hello to the big white telephone, droogies.
  15. Fave Father Ted eps - Song For Europe and Tentacles Of Doom (which features the "That would be an ecumenical matter" line). Priceless.
  16. It's an inevitable part of a comic collector's personal history that when you reach college age you throw your collection away for a pittance as you either need the money or see the act of dumping your childhood treasures as a rite of passage. Then comes the seller's remorse, the extended period away from the hobby (despite feeling the occasional need to go back to it) and finally, when you're more solvent and considerably older, the return. I didn't purchase or read a comic from the mid 80s to the early 90s. Not as long as your hiatus, but still a time when I never thought I'd get back into the hobby. Glad I took that breather though, despite the opportunity to buy high grade silver during the 1980s lull.
