  1. Yeah, he's great. And let's not forget Alex Saviuk, Al Milgrom, Frank Robbins, Alan Kupperberg, and Ron Lim while we're at it.
  2. I remember his work from Weird War...not your typical comic artist, and hard to get used to.
  3. I've got a portfolio by Nasser...awesome otherworldly stuff... ...kinda like Starlin... Yep, he had a lot of talent before he changed his name to Netzer...some people pegged him as a Neal Adams clone, which I always thought was unfair.
  4. Sal Amendola Alfredo Alcala (great BA horror artist) Luis Dominguez (all those great Weird War covers) Vincente Alcazar Mike Kaluta Mike Ploog (always underrated) Brian Talbot Rick Buckler Mike Nasser
  5. Kudos to drbanner for three well graded, packed and speedily shipped Bronze 'Tecs. Thanks Mike!
  6. Great stuff....not enough love for mid '60s DC sci-fi. Haven't seen the cover to #175 before...
  7. Big hearty kudos to Kramerica for another flawless and swift transaction. If only ebay transactions were this anxiety free. Thanks Mark (congrats on 1500 posts, btw).
  8. For a very small fee I'll be only too glad to take it off your hands when you're ready to part with it.
  9. What about those maleficent folk who refer to themselves in the third person?? Hell's too good for 'em.
  10. . According to these guys, I'm just screwed. Although I do know how to use an apostrophe. What's a P.K.? And "High Fulfillment Sophisticated Swine"? HIgh Fullutent. I assume they meant High Fallutin'. I get the impression that we're all going to hell according to these people. Just a hunch. "Loud mouth women" and "freeloaders".
  11. Kudos to johnenock for some superb HG JLAs and Wrightson_Fan for a NM- 100 pager. Great stuff.
  12. You are welcome Andy. Too many Andys here. Too true. There should be a poll in General to work out how many non-Andys there are on these boards...
  13. Kudos to GACollectibles and October for some expertly packed, graded and speedily shipped Silver and Bronze of various genres and publishers. Thanks Andys.
  14. Kudos to TonyStarkFan for a very well packed and speedily shipped (5 days at this time of year from LV USA to London? ) bunch of as described books. Highest recommendation!
  15. Fantastic. Even if it was a non-pedigree in mid-grade it'd still be a great pickup - I never see that book for sale.
  16. Great pre-code pickups. Where did you find these gems?
  17. Kudos to Sterling on some sweet and beautifully packaged HG Bronze (what else?).
  18. Can't go wrong with GA Joker covers. Nice colours on that book.
  19. Kudos to several Forumites for recent transactions... To October, Blowout, 1CoolEngineer, johnenock and ft88 for some great books and all round great service. Never a hassle with these gentlemen... And to Jungle_Junkie, kagemusha7s and some bloke called greggy for speedy payment and swift comms. Now buy some more books!!
  20. Yep. It's essential - there should be no room for the contents of a package to move AT ALL in transit and they should be buffered adequately from the box itself. Plus the package should be handler proof. Otherwise it's a recipe for disaster.
  21. Back in the day in England early Conans were actually quite scarce - it was only in the '90s when dealers brought back sackfuls of BWS issues that we all came to learn how common they were. Which is vaguely ironic considering BWS was one of the first (the first?) English artists at Marvel. The new Dark Horse series has been very good - highly recommended if you haven't checked it out.
  22. I overheard once that you CAN purchase rights, etc. - but it is expensive. Five Figures to start... CAL That's peanuts for Disney.
  23. Kudos to Jeffro for a couple of high grade Chilis, well packed and speedily shipped!
