  3. All these different prints and variants are the krang of my existence.
  4. Woah, $1200 for the Krang variant. That's just krang-zy.
  5. Hasn't there been an uptick across the board for all books during the quarantine?
  6. When those feeding frenzy threads are complete, and everyone is done trying to get their takeits down as fast as possible, I assume many of those buyers have immediate remorse when the invoice comes due.
  7. Perhaps he's just really concerned about the buyer getting his purchase in an expeditious manner.
  8. If you tear the cover completely off then you won't have to scrape any pieces of it away.
  9. Ugh, then you would be trading in color touch you can't see for a piece of the black cover scraped off. Hard pass.
  10. The thrill of the hunt is still out there. I travel to the boonies of Maine often and hit up all the antique shops, and there are still lots and lots of dusty comics sitting in piles waiting to be discovered. Maybe the internet has made it such that no one is unknowingly sitting on an AF 15 but I've found many Matt Bakers, for instance, in piles of old comics in the bottom of antique shop bins.
  11. Is it dead around here or is it just me?
  12. In my 20+ years selling on eBay I have had far more problems with low dollar purchases than higher dollar purchases. People who tend to buy items in the $1-$30 range are often finicky and will work hard to negotiate down every last penny, literally. Buyers in the three figures and up range tend to be more decisive and don't bother to look for excuses to save a few bucks. This isn't true all the time, of course, but this has been my general experience. Incidentally, this has also been my experience on the boards as well.
  13. Thanks. Cole has my vote for best cover artist, particularly his sci-fi covers.
