  1. Texan 4. Matt Baker cover. One of my favorites. GD/VG. Cover detached but looks nice. SOLD
  2. Ten Story Love Vol 30 Issue 3. Great Alice Kirkpatrick cover. Very Good condition. Chip out of right edge of cover. SOLD
  3. First takeit wins and immediately trumps all PM negotiations. Any variation of "takeit" counts. I accept Paypal, Venmo, check, money order or cash. No Hall of Shamers or Probies. Payment expected in 72 hours unless we work it out ahead of time. Shipping free in the US. I will ship internationally at cost. Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through
  4. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on this book yet but I've been tempted. It's the storage of it that turns me off. I did recently reread the Miracleman run and issue 15, when MM has to kill Jonny, still hits me. That entire issue, and particularly that scene, is, to me, the greatest artistic comics achievement of all time. Totleben is the best ever in my mind.
  5. I didn't think much of it. I'm a huge fan of Moore's writing and, if you consider the entire body of his work, the Alan Moore oeuvre is probably the greatest in the short history of "serious" comics storytelling. However, I've tried to read the stuff he's done in the past fifteen years or so and, frankly, it's mostly pretty boring.
  6. CGC will encapsulate the certificate now, incidentally.
  7. Yup. The first story, The Goblin of Adachigahara, is the 8 page intro to Usagi by Stan Sakai. The second story, a 13 pager, is a continuing serial by Steve Gallaci.
  8. Massachusetts has said that they aren't interested in hitting people who find random carp in their attics and sell it online; they want legitimate businesses that use PayPal to have a taxable paper trail.
  9. There used to be a board member here who had his CGC submissions sent directly from CGC post-grading to MCS.
  10. The first story, in Albedo 2, is 8 pages I believe. As far as I know it's reprinted in this: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=231351
  11. The story is reprinted in Usagi Yojimbo 1 (1987 series) and the Usagi Summer Special 1.
  12. First appearance of Uncle Scrooge McDuck. Lower grade. Chips around the outer cover edge. Spine split from top down about 3". Biggest issue is one panel cut out of the Mickey Mouse story. $75.

  14. Always leave them wanting more. I think George Costanza taught me that. 🤔
  15. Good moves, Conan, and some that were likely necessary. One question: how is FMV on books determined, particularly with regards to consignment pricing caps and listing time limits? Presumably GPA will be used for slabs. Will raw books also be aligned with equivalent slab grade prices?
