  1. I still get the occasional prospective buyer that tells me that my comic is garbage, poor, one of the worst copies they've ever seen and I should be ashamed that I even have it listed for sale. I get this regardless of actual grade. I just reply, "Then why would you be interested in it?" Incidentally, I get messages like this both on the boards and on ebay.
  2. I predicted a Schomburg win at the start of this contest and I'm sticking with it.
  3. It's tempting to just pick Frazetta but his actual comics output is pretty small.
  4. What's a flash sale and why are they suddenly so prevalent in my life?
  5. You could make the same argument about many artists with regard to superheroes.
  6. It's tempting to submit it based strictly on curiosity of where their standards sit.
  7. I've had horrible luck with water stains, upwards of 2 full grade drops (in my opinion) due to a stain. It's weird how much they over punish for that. This book is actually really nice in hand. Pages are nice, the colors on the cover pop, but I'm convinced CGC will just assign a "2.5 WATER STAINS" on it and slab it.
  8. Literally every book I've sold via auction.
  9. It looks throughout about what it looks like on the back cover.
  10. Minor spine split bottom of spine. Small piece out of top right corner. Biggest issue is a water stain through bottom of all pages and covers. No brittleness or mustiness. Off-white pages. Everything firmly intact and flat.
