  1. I read the first few issues after it returned from the break and found myself kind of slogging through to the end. I didn't bother to get the last couple issues. I've kind of generally lost interest in all fantasy and sci-fi stories lately so I assumed it was me. Loki season two, for example, is boring me to death. Now, based on yous guyses comments, perhaps Saga has just run its course.
  2. This book gave me a new appreciation for Kirby's contributions to the medium, not necessarily for the technical art style but the innovation in dynamism that pushed Marvel right past DC as the much cooler and more exciting superhero publisher in the Sixties.
  3. I tore through this. The stories inside the book are amazing. The binding of the book itself is trash.
  4. True Life Secrets 23 still seems to hold value despite there being a seemingly endless supply.
  5. I feel the same. For some reason the magazine work just doesn't give me the same spark. His interior comics work, though limited in volume, was fantastic and highly influential on Bernie Wrightson in particular. Frazetta's romance stories are on another level. I give this book my highest possible recommendation for anyone who hasn't experienced Frazetta work beyond the covers.
  6. How are we supposed to threadcrap your sales listings on Shortboxed?

  8. Kevin Eastman must be up there.
  9. The guidance from @The Sledder is to NOT reserve a spot in this thread that is later edited but rather create a new post with the actual donation, so as to avoid the buried, edited post from being missed.
  10. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred. Paypal or Venmo okay. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Free in the US. International at cost. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  11. Power Comics 3 CGC 2.5. LB Cole classic cover. $2500.

  13. Cole himself used to claim in interviews that he drew 1500 covers so I always went with that.
