I think it's a fantastic idea. I too saw the owner getting this done and, I must say, he was absurdly attractive and had a lot of funny things to say that we all enjoyed. His wife was pretty hot too.

The sigs aren't verified but at least you get to take them home immediately.

Just came back from Shellback Artworks in Wells, ME. I got a chance to hang with Peter Laird, Steve Lavigne and Eric Talbot. They were all great. Nice guys. Signed whatever was put in front of them. Seemed to be having a fun time. Steve's shop is awesome. Highly recommended for FCBD if you can make it.

Good. After the horrific week we just had I doubt childrens' innocence is going to be shattered by some fiery speech-making.

All it takes is one really bad transaction to nullify a thousand positive transactions. If that bad transaction is not allowed to be mentioned in a feedback thread then the positive transactions will not be very instructive. When I complete a transaction and the other person asks that I provide them kudos I gladly comply. But adding my "Great transaction! A+++!!!111" to the other dozen in the person's feedback doesn't exactly provide much value without a way to appropriately contextualize it. If others find utility in the kudos thread, that's great. I, myself, do not. Incidentally, David Ortiz just dropped a major "F bomb" on live TV. I wonder if NESN will apologize...

To be fair, I never read someone's kudos thread. Because, again, they are worthless.

Still nothing. I confronted the seller regarding his statement that he did not have PayPal and he said he got it after I paid for the book. It is frustrating and I have given up on ever receiving the book. I guess this is a harsh lesson for me to not even trust the Kudos threads on these boards. More data that the kudos thread here is worthless.

I have to agree. I've had PM sales from quite a few new members, and they follow through with no problems. You are going to have a chance of a bad sale based on the person - not the post count. Though I get it about feeling more comfortable with someone that is established. The original topic of discussion was to have a post count required for people to sell on the boards - not buy. Not sure what happened, but I think someone misread and ran with the idea that a post count for everyone was being suggested. I think you should have a minimum post count just to post.
